Apparently, Happy Hour and Justice are. FOX wasted no time to put those two new series on hiatus. It is said that they will come back after the baseball break, but it's hard to imagine this stunt would save them, especially when other new series on other networks already build up their audience.

Surprise, Surprise! Grey's Anatomy Surpassed CSI!
by *lingctus on Comments
I think people like to watch Grey's Anatomy, but they like it this much, this is a quite a shock to me. The seventh season premiere of CSI scored a much more modest 13.5/20 share compared to the opening of last season. Grey's Anatomy , on the other hand, won the CBS-dominated time slot by an impressive 15.7/24, beat CSI to the ground.
I used to be a fan of Grey's Anatomy, but since the producers wanted to turn this medical drama into a chick flick, I stopped watching. But I got to give it up to ABC's promotion strategy.
Unfortunately, the new drama on ABC didn't hold much audience of its lead-in, Grey's Anatomy, only posted a less impressive 8.7 rating/14 share, approximately 50%. It seems that the majority of those viewers tune into NBC for another, and much hardcore, if I may, medical drama, ER. A 10 rating/ 17 share is not too shabby for a long run show, I think we can conclude that ER has become senile, but still strong and attractive. In the same time slot, CSI's lead-in Shark did a much better job, compared to Six Degrees. Shark brought home silver by a 9.8 rating/16 share.

Networks Explore Full Advantage of the Internet

FOX network streamed three episodes each of "Prison Break" and "Vanished". CBS has put "The Class" on TiVo, and also plan to stream "The Class" and two other shows on Google Video including "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Smith", plus CBS will place all three "CSI" and "Jerichos" on its online channel innertube after they air on TV. ABC is just a little less aggressive, they plan to put the first episodes of seven shows on their website, including "Desperate Housewives", "Grey's Anatomy", "Lost", "Ugly Betty", "The Nine", "Six Degrees". NBC, which struck out during the last season, on the other hand, is the most aggresive network. They plan to launch a new video player on their website, which is supposed to carry much better streaming quality, the scheduled streaming-video-ed shows includes new comedy "30 Rock" and "Twenty Good Years"(4 episodes each), and new drama "Friday Night Lights", "Heroes", "Kidnapped" and " Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip"(eight episodes each). NBC also will put up blogs on their website for their upcoming new shows and old shows.
