Hello!

I know it's been entirely too long, but as some of you know I have been hanging out at LJ much more than this site recently. If you want my LJ just ask. The reason for this post you ask? Well...XF2 has finally been anounced!! And to my great relieve it's going to be with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson!! Funny thing is just one day before I read the happy news I had finally completely given up on ever seeing new XF ever again.

Erm...maybe I should have done that sooner? Either way, I feel like I deserved this, because major crap has happened to me this week! OK relative ofcourse, but still...I have been sick at home all week with an upper respiratory trackt infection with ear nose and throat problems and to top it off some problems with my balance (cos of earprobs)

and because I wasnt feeling **** enough, the pc gremlins kicked in and made my HD go crash again. Yeah cos that didnt happen to me just 2 months ago! grrrr!!

Anyway...YAY XF2!!!

OK people I typed this blog and then lost it so now it's gonna be a short version of the original one. So I haven't had much online time lately because my RL has been taking over from my cyberlife lately. That's mainly due to my work and the bf is gonna move in with me soon. So that's taking up a lot of time... Right now I am enjoying a well deserved - or so I'd like to think - break. I decided to get out of the country and go to south Germany to bf (+ inlaws...). I am hoping that the weather will get a little better so we can do some bike tours in the next couple of days!! It's been a while since we've done so and it's just so pretty here! I've just been to see HP for the second time, inGerman this time around, but it was still good! They managed to get a really good Snape voice too (they dub) so that was a big relieve as he' s my favorite character... In tv news: *I have started watching Ghost whisperer. I don't know what it is but that series is like a trainwreck, I cannot not watch it when it's on tv. * Only a month untill tv starts again!! YAY!! * Have you seen the Bones teaser. TEASER!! Hello everyone!! I have been so busy in the past week that this is the first real opportunity I have to blog! But what an amazing week it has been! So THE MEETING OF THE MINDS (my version, please make sure to also check Queen T's version when she blogs because I am sure I will forget things...) I'll just start at the beginning with Wednesday: This was a day spent in bouts of gid and cleaning and trying to finish HP7. Which I have finished now, but I will blog about that some other time. I would like to discuss with people who have read it too...Anyways, the anticipation and gid were all because T (aka asaneismRnuTs)was on her way over to the Netherlands!!! Can you say SQUEEE!!?!11eleven. Anyways when she arrived at the end of the afternoon we went to my place and wanted to order Thai (in celebration of Bones) but the website was being a bitca so we ended up with Chinese instead. No seven organ soup, thank god!! Oh and T, Jasper is watching as I type this!! :D After eating we ofcourse HAD to watch a couple of Bones episodes together and let me tell you. Watching live together is jsut so much better than synchro watching online, even if that's not a bad alternative either... On Thursday we had to get up way early to go to the racetrack because that was the "real" reason for T's visit ofcourse: there were hot racedrivers to be stalked!! So click-click-clang-clang, we grabbed an Audi flag and vamoused!! After meeting up with the rest of the gang on the way we arrived at Zandvoort in the early afternoon. We sneaked not so sneakily into the pits and had a good time looking at people pushing the cars around. Tom K's car! Isn't it pretty? We also ran into some of the drivers but not all of us got to meet our favorites this afternoon. But it was a good start considering the real raceweekend starts on friday morning. We also ran into Tom K (aka the target of the weekend) checking into the hotel! Friday morning was off to a good start when we got to watch the roll out from the top of the pits. And later we ambushed some drivers...OK ALL drivers, on the way to the drivers' briefing. The location of which is one of the worst kept secrets ever. View from the pitcomplex, look at them dunes!! And yeah there is a lot of sand over there, hence the name Zandvoort! Blergh sand in my ears, food, clothes and the worst thing: stuck to my face after putting on sunscreen! Nope sand and wind is not my favorite combo! This is a shot of us my sister found on the web, this is us on the dunes totally on the far end of the previous pic: On Saturday we went to see qualifying and we managed to get our picture taken with Tom K. He also was good enough to sign a cap to me. And later we got our Audi flags signed by him aswell at a public autograph session. He was being really nice and patient. Maybe not in the least because T spoke Danish to him but hey, gotta use what you can!! me, Tom K, T: What can I say, Got to love a man in fireprof undies!! Whoohoo!! The race on Sunday kinda sucked when Tom K got pushed into an accident in the first corner and ended up 12th...After this it was a lost race for him unfortunately. In the end Audi won with 4 cars in front but teamorders caused the driver of the race to give up his maiden victory in favour of a higher ranking Audi driver. That sucked!! All in all it was a brilliant weekend though and the weather was mostly pretty good and we had SO MUCH fun the whole weekend! Seriously the funniest catch phrase of the weekend must have been "I touched the butt" which none of us actually dared to do, even though all of us would have loved to cop a feel LOL. It'd been such a wonderfull weekend that I just didn't want it to end at all! Waah! I feel like I forgot a lot, but will wait till T has posted to see what needs to be added!! So, I've been back online for a little while now!! WHEEEE!! But somehow it's very different after having been away for such a long time. It's strange. It took me the longest time to start writing a blog again aswell... Anyways, maybe it's also due to the fact that the tv seasons are on break and all...summer funk who knows... Talk about summer funk. Our summer is definately behaving funky! We've had some really good weather in May but it's been rainy for over a month now! I've seen/heard that it's happening all over the globe...Tells me a whole lot more than Live-earth concert and what have you to be honest...Yeah not a big fan of that, but seeing as that's a while ago I won't get into that right now. And being the hypocryte I am, I am gonna go off to watch 20 people race some wicked-ass cars around a racetrack all weekend. Ofcourse that is only half the reason that I will be going to the pretty Zandvoort in the Northsea dunes of the Netherlands...I will also go and meet up with some pretty awesome people. Among whom will be our beloved Queen T!! *does giddy dance* It's funny, after having met on the Bones forum we discovered we share a liking for the same racedriver and now we'll meet up to go see Tom Kristensen (picture below) perform live, OH YEAH!!! Ofcourse there will be a lot of handsome drivers walking around there "for grabs" all weekend, so it's gonna be fun! That's it for now, ofcourse I will preport back on the upcoming weekend with pics and all. And I will catch you up on the other goings-on in my life...

So, here I am at work typing this update because I STILL do not have web at my new place and by the sound of it it might take a while too.... I am telling you ISPs are the purest of evil!! They seriously told me they had nothing on my move in their system sespite my email and 2 calls!! Can you say GRR ARGH?! On better news, the appartment is great! I am really loving my new place. It is just so good to have everything to yourself instead of having to smell someone elses dirty dishes and laundry! Because of the STILL NO WEB issue I can't post any of the pics I made because it's such a hassle to do that from work but you'll get to see them eventually! Hope everyone is well! Hugs to T! Tomorrow's the big day! I am finally moving out of my old student's room! I've lived here for 6 years, but now that I got a real job I decided I needed a real house too. I am really excited about getting a place all to myself. The bad news is that the internet company screwed up...:( Somehow they lost my request to move internet which means I might be without web for 6!!! weeks! I am starting to feel really depressed about it. Will try to keep up on the blogs from work as much as possible but I just wanted to let you know before I go AWOL. Hello my tvDOTcom friends!! After a couple of days of refusing me access to the page I finally made it back in. I felt so frustrated not being able to reply to anything. I couldnt even goto the tech support to ask for help because you need to be logged in to post something *grr arrg* Well I just needed to vent about that. More about my extremely busy week some other time. I'll just say now that we've made good progress in my new apartment! :)

Aah the Bones finale was so bittersweet for me. I've been really looking forward to this ep and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed! Only now we've got this big evil summer hiatus ahead. Luckily they left us with a little teaser of what's to come next season. Hello again my friends! I know it has been entirely too long since I last write anything and I haven't had much of a chance to be very active in the forums either...Makes me a little sad but there's just too much going on in RL at the moment. So what have I been up to lately you ask? Well, as some of you know I work as a doc in a hospital and we also have to do nightshifts so I just finished one of those. It's a block of 2 weeks and quite exhauting to be honest. It's also not a lot of fun because you're all alone which is scary and boring. It went well enough though so the scary wore off after a while but it's still boring. After those 2 weeks I got a week off which is decided to spend in Germany with the bf. So that should have been all great but my body decided otherwise when I got an ear/throat infection that had me in bed in the company of a fever for almost 2 days...Not quite what I wanted to share the bed with but you can't have it all...so at the moment I am still recovering from that while the week is running away from me and we haven't done much of the fun stuff I planned. We did go to a Sushi restaurant yesterday and I was smiling like a lunatic when I was eating the spicy tuna rolls. Can you guys believe what a glut Booth was being in the last ep?! Then again who can blame him with all the great food... So just a couple of days left till the season finale!!! I am really hoping for some good angst to carry over the summer!! Ofcourse when it actually happens I will be screaming at the tv and b!tching about it over here!! :) Meh, I am a woman, I am allowed to do that! ;) In other news, I got an appartment!!!! :D I am really happy with that. They are restoring the kitchen and bathroom at the moment but I sould get the keys june 1st and then the decorating will begin! I am so pleased to be moving out of my student room soon! I really can't stand to live there anymore sharing everything and so on...Those of you who've done it will know what I mean. Oh, also I am trying to learn Danish. The plan was to make some good progress this week but because of getting ill that didn't go quite as planned...So why learn Danish? because I can...:D I've got a couple of friends in DK and also it was bugging the hell out of me that I couldn't read Tom Kristensen's website. He's a racedriver that I decided to root for this year. Right now I am thinking he wishes I hadn't because after my decicion he had a bad crash and hasn't been back on track since. I am crossing my fingers for next week's race though! Well that's just about what I've been upto in the past couple of weeks...See you around! G
