With Grossman expected to be 100% by next sunday's game vs the Bucks, should the Bears continue to start rookie QB Kyle Orton? Orton has been fairly consistant with managing the game and not turning the ball over, but he has not produced much in terms of offensive production. Orton seems poised in the pocket, has a good accuracy, and shows flashes of greatness, but his stats obviously don't show that. At 61.8, Orton has the worst QB rating in the NFL among the 31 qualifying starting QBs. But, Rex Grossman has still yet to fully prove himself as a good, reliable starting QB as he has been injured alot more games than he has started.

Like a 35 yard kick by Gould going good, going good, then blowing about 25 yards to the right into the sideline stands. Or a 52 yard try by the 49ers going good then blowing short and to the right into the hands of nathon vasher who returned it 108 yards for a tuchdown. And it was all bears from there. In the end the score was Bears 17, 49ers 9, but this is a game none of the players will forget. The wind was affecting more than the special teams today. Both teams seemed afraid to throw the ball seing as the 49ers had no passing yards in the whole first half and there was a combined total of only about 90 yrds in the air. Only 1 compleation made by the 49ers. The deep running game of the bears was what pulled them ahead as their backup, cedric benson, was injured and their third string went out there and rushed for 120 yrds and a TD. The Bears defense also had another fanamanal game giving up 9 and no tuchdown. In related news, the 49ers do not have a tuchdown in there last three games.

As long as he dosent turn the ball over, their D will put them in spots where they can get at least a field goal.
