By far the best music library manager for Windows: foobar2000, but only if you have the time to play around with setting it up. Winamp is a pretty good alternative.

And most media players allow you to set up global hotkeys to control the media player remotely. I know foobar2000 and Winamp both do.

As far as Zune compatability: I don't have a Zune, what exactly do you need it to do?
