For the most part this setup has worked but I have a problem with the display on the monitor. For some reason, the screen is off center and it looks like it is too long on the right and is cut off. It's not a huge problem, but it's really annoying. Does anyone know how to deal with this type of problem?

If you're monitor is in fact HDCP compliant then all you need is the HDMI to DVI cable. Other than that you just need to sort your audio and you'll be all set.emitsu97

I bought a PS3 yesterday, and have it currently hooked up to a small, old TV. I have a decent size computer monitor (a 22" Acer) and would like to hook my console up to that to take advantage of the HD features of the PS3. From what I've read, my plan is to purchase a male-to-male HDMI to DVI cable and plug it in between the two. My monitor is HDCP compatible and my question is, will this work? I just want to have some insight before I start buying cables for it.
