The PS3-the perfect console when you want to purchase things you don't need.

BumFluff122

This is where you don't make sense. You don'tneed to play games in general, dude. You don't "need" Xbox, Playstation or anything Nintendo. Don't freak out or anything when i say this but, your heart could possibly (continue) to beat without playing video games everyday. Nerds act like gaming is all there is to life. If you don't need a PS3, why in the hell do you NEED a 360?

Get a job working at blockbuster. Save up every time, you'd have over ten thousand dollars by the time your friend leaves.

Listen, if you would have listened to your friend in the first place, over a YEAR AGO when he told you to do this EXACT SAME THING, you could be going this year. But no, this time last year you wouldn't settle for a "crappy job". You were SO sure you'd get a "good job" and go on a paid vacation. News flash. It's that time, one year later, what in the heck have you accomplished? Nothing. The same situation is happening again.

Yet again your friend is here to tell you to get a crappy job and go in 2009. But yet again you say you want a "better" job. However, by this time NEXT YEAR you'll have NOTHING accomplished AGAIN and it will be the same scenario. You guys have repeated this battle on every single trip he's done, it'll be the same next year.

Why not take a chance, live a little, and spend a month sipping sake in Tokyo with your pal? Don't let him say "he told you so" again.

Hey everyone,

I'm wondering about PS3's online. I've been out of the gaming loop for a long time. The last time I was seriously here just about everyone hated PS3's. Now, the hate isn't as bad.

I'm curious how PSN compares to XBL now? Does the free-ness of it all ruin it? Is it stable, how is the downloadable content? I'm stuck between Xbox and PS for RE5. I want to play it online.

At this year's e3 Reggie said they weren't going to put out another handheld for at least 2 to 3 years because the DS sails were so high.

I suggest you get a DS lite if you really want one , because of the really great games out on it.

Really? I've looked everywhere for this and cannot find it anywhere. Thanks guys. Does anyone have a link to where Reggie says a new DS is at least a year away?

I'm sure you guys have heard it before, so sorry for bringing it up again. (I look around a bit, but couldn't find anything). I want to get a DS lite, however, I am afraid that it's too late and a DS because a DS 2 or some sort may be on the way. I have sort of been out of the gaming loop for quiet sometime, so I'm not caught up on the current "reliable" rumors.

Should I wait? Is there a DS2 this year?

Thanks..

Josh

It's decent - most modern games should run reasonably well on that card at resolutions below 16x10.RayvinAzn

Oh okay thanks, just curious cause it's what is in included with the Macbook pro.

How good is the Geforce 8600M GT for gaming? What can it handle well?

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I just slapped $99 bucks on the Xbox offical wireless adapter..to find out I'm having issues connecting to my IP address. Do note, I have a Linksys range booster in my room, so I can get a signal strength. The bars are full, my signal is perfect. But I can not connect to an IP address.

What's the problem?

Thanks,

Josh
