Long story short, I own a Visa Check card, and I'd like to purchase a variety of things on XBL, however everytime I attempt to purchase points I get a "authorization denied, or failed, or something on those lines. What is causing this? A fellow member on the forums suggests I buy something else online, anything from anywhere..something cheap. Then it shold allow me to buy things on XBL. My card has the Visa sticker on it, and to my understandings should be 100% allowed to do these such things.

I had the EXACT same problem today as well. I think you have the same thing as i have. It won't work and you will have to spend it somewhere else online. I'm going to get Casino Royale out of mine from Play.com, but it sucks that you can't use it on XBL.
So wait, you're saying if I buy something else online, anything at all, that it will then work for XBL?
