I have it right here. And I kinda pissed its not a masterpiece because I feel robbed, stupid GS and VanOrd and his nostagia getting the best of him.

I have both now too, and I was utterly disappointed by the PS3 as a game machine. Sure it has a great game(allegedly) but after MGS4 everything is on par or lower than the standard I've become accustomed to with my 360. I hope this changes but I'm not sure it will.

Not in my opnion, the ps3 library has more games that interest me.epic_pets

I'm having fanboy pains, I got a PS3 but I still need some time to view it as a good game system. Its an awesome blu ray player. But alot of their games are good at best. I hate the controller, it has you fire or attack with the L1/R1 buttons instead of the L2/R2 buttons like I have been accustomed too.

But maybe I'll get over it soon.

personally, i thought mgs4 was an extreme disappointment (but only because the other games were so much better), but w/e i still enjoyed it. though my favorite game of this year was dead spaceREforever101

Who's crying? I got the game right here and I'm telling you that its 8.5 game really but VanOrd got all nostalgic and over rated, why can't you see that.

But yeah with the PS3 library what it is I can see why you would think its great.

I would say GTA4, maybe Fallout 3, Fable 2, there are alot of games that had some awesome action gameplay. MGS4 was all about getting you suck it in with cut scenes and that takes away from what we need to be concentrating on here and that is game play.

they are all great games including MGS4, just because it won some awards doesn't mean the other games were crap.

the game was awesome, both types of entertainment were top-notch, the story and the gameplay.

did Fallout 3, GTA4 or Fable 2 gave some incredible cinematic like MGS4? MGS4 was so much entertaining because they told you the story like a real movie or something like that and when the story scenes ends you take control of that same scene with Snake dierctly after, it was an amazing experience mixing the two aspects of the game.

I want to play a game not watch a game, look I understand you need some cut scenes to convey story but no 30 min or longer cut scenes that's just wrong in my book. And that is what I think GS got caught up in and the install screens for each chapter even after installing the game is far from being immersing.

Again I wished I loved it, but it was very mediocre and cliche ridden.
