Today's games are dumbed down to be more like the consoles. So all of them encourage rushing and not building/researching. Supreme commander is one of the very few games today that allows people to play defensively.ZJI

i love playing defensivly, i never was the type for offense ill have to check it out

You obviously don't remember the "good old days" like I do...Ultima 7 anyone? Autoexec.bat/Config.sys? EMManager? Loadhi, etc... ;) Perhaps I'm so old that I'm older than the "old days"?

PC gaming has always had its difficulties due to the insane amount of variation from one computer to the next.

Have you tried re-installing your OS lately? Uninstall and reinstall all your drivers, etc...

Aahhh... the good ol' days. Anyone else remember trying to troubleshoot DOS games. I much prefer the present.
