This. They really shouldn't have put the trophy that requires to reach rank "General" in it... But I've heard that Killzone 2 is quite hard to platinum too.
The thing is the general trophy isn't even the hardest. Warhawk Award is.
And I achieved the platinum in about 700 (give or take 100) but I also hosted my own server which got me points when I was idle.. My profile page says 1000.
Play the whole game, trust me.. It's a really great game. You also should play both playthroughs too (good and evil) but if you pick one, play good of course.
