It officially became a word a few years ago. So many people were too stupid to realize that it wasn't a word, that it then became a word.
Well, it allows for a bit more accuracy when using the English language to communicate with other people. I don't see how it's a bad thing. It beats using multiple words to get the same point across, while risking being misunderstood because you used multiple words which can have multiple meanings.
No one said "stupidest" because they thought it would be less confusing than saying "most stupid". They simply said it because they were too stupid to know that "stupidest" wasn't a real word.
It's just like when you ask someone how they're doing and they say "good". They simply don't know any better.
Having said that, it's not exactly a big deal or anything. But "stupidest" DID become a word because so many people were too stupid to know that it wasn't a word.
Stupidest is much shorter and faster then "most stupid". People always apply the basic grammar rules of their language to modify and create words that are more efficient. It happens all the time in all languages, that's how the languages evolve. It's not because people are idiots, it's because they are intelligent enough to see how the changes can be beneficial.
Dude, you're talking about three syllables vs three syllables. Saying "most stupid" takes at most about 1/10th of a second longer than saying "stupidest". Are you REALLY telling me that people are in that much of a hurry?

Suit yourselves, but you're not going to find music this good playing in Hot Topic.Episode_666
I probably will never listen to most of the music you listed, but I'm fine with the music I listen to.
I think mine is cool.
Do you think my old one is better?
