Signature: Fable II

Signature: Fable II Yes, I know this isn't technically art work. I cut this out of an image, added a border, and some text. I don't claim to have made this from scratch, so don't call me out on it. Anyway, I got Fable II a few days ago and I loved it. So, I made a little avatar and signature based on the image on the box cover and the strategy guide that I bought on Black Friday. I tried to find a Fable II font, but my efforts were fruitless. So, I found one that I thought went with the theme of the time period. Let me know what you all think.

Black Friday = Good Haul

So, I went out with my dad yesterday and got a few decent items on this year's Black Friday. I did notice something unusual, and that is the fact that we found some prime parking spots...on Black Friday. My dad even commented saying, "Such good parking spots on Black Friday? That's not good." Anyway, this is what I got on this year's Black Friday: - Fable 2 Strategy Guide - Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - GH: Aerosmith Guitar - Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

The Truth about KotOR II: TSL

[quote="Unknown Source"]Bioware didn't let LucasArts give it to Obsidian. They flat-out refused to develop any more KotOR games after the first one. LucasArts then basically asked Bioware, "OK, that's cool. Who would you recommend?", to which Bioware replied, "Well, we worked with these guys over at Black Isle Studios before, but then Interplay fired 'em all so they founded this new studio, Obsidian. Give 'em a call, and let them do their thing, you won't be disappointed!". So, LucasArts did so. But then, they turned around and said, "Yo, Obsidian, hurry it up will ya?", to which Obsidian replied, "Hey, we're working as fast as we can, but do you want us to make you a game or just a disc full of useless materials?". LEC then replied, "We don't give a rat's arse. It's our intellectual property, and we say finish what you got and release it.". "Wait, do you have any damn clue how the game development process works? Have you even developed a game before?" Obsidian challenged, to which LEC replied "Hey, we're LucasArts, mofuggas! we don't need to know jack **** about games development to know that we're right no matter what. Release! Now!" came the booming reply. Obsidian, realising LucasArts had the legal rights to fug them over completely if they did not comply, had no choice but to capitulate under the onslaught of LucasArts' T-Virus lawyers and their threats of a super-mutant lawsuit. And thus, KotOR2 was released, in a half-finished state. Few months later, Obsidian go to LucasArts and say, "We wanna finish the game and release the rest as a content patch over XBL. We'll do all the legwork, we just need you to authorise it, with it being Star Wars and all. Whaddya say?". LucasArts, obviously blinded to the fact that they were responsible for fuggin' up TSL, replied, "No way, you already cocked the game up enough!". And that's how it played out.

Yeah, it may sound like a bunch of b******t because of the slang terms that were used. However, when you think about it this makes total and perfect sense. LucasArts Corporation f****d up their own game to get it out when all of the other "cool" games were coming out. Haven't they ever f*****g heard of the phrase, "Good things come to people who wait?" So, hence, I fully apologize for bashing Obsidian numerous times before. Everybody grab a torch and pitchfork and let's storm LucasArts Corporation's executive headquarters. They wouldn't even admit their mistake and let Obsidian make the game right with a XBL update. What... the... f**k. Sigh.

Mild Activity Drop, Finishing School, New Job

I don't know if anyone checks my blog a lot or anything, but I don't get that many comments. That is something I've always wanted more of, because I look at blogs of some people and their blog has something like 20 comments only a half hour after being posted. I hope to achieve that someday, but I'm content with what I have now. I do want more friends to get an emblem upgrade, though. Well, whatever. I think I might try to make a Speed Run video. That's when you just move around a lot in a game, right? Now I'm rambling on and on. I'll get to the point of this blog. I've been busy with finishing up school and working to get a new job, so I haven't been able to play many videos games or anything like that. In turn, I haven't had time to get onto Gamespot to see what was up with you miscreants. Though, that's all mostly coming to an end now. I still have to deal with finals but not for a bit of time (a week or two). I've also been working on getting a new job, so that's fun!

MOTHER@#$%^%!!1! (Caps)

So, I was playing Assassin's Creed last night and my girlfriend called me from the other room, saying she needed help with something. I had just finished killing the 6th guy and I thought the game had saved, so I shut off the console. Now I come on today, wanting to do another assassination, but the **** game file is corrupted on my Xbox 360. Son of a **** I really hope there's a way to recover it, because I really don't feel like restarting the game. God dammit.

Calling All Namers

So, my current screen name for AIM is "weed or college" and that doesn't make sense much anymore since I don't smoke weed. I never did to begin with, so I'm not sure why that was my screen name to begin with but that's besides the point. Now, my girlfriend just told me that I need a new one so I've decided to start working on that but I want to make one that doesn't make people call me a new. I was thinking of something to do with Assassin's Creed. Or being a gamer, or something. So, does anyone have any ideas for me? Bring them forward.

Assassin's Creed.

Wow. Assassin's Creed is such a disgustingly good game that it shouldn't even be legal to play in the US.

Edit: Wow. My Assassin's Creed disc was scratch, so it became unreadable a while after the first assassination. Now I have to send it back and wait for a new one to come. No big deal, I guess. I picked up San Andreas again while I wait.

Edit: Well, a new Assassin's Creed disc is coming. Should be here in about three or four days, but technically five not counting Sunday. Back to playing GTA.

Edit: Well, the second disc came and it worked until I tried to load Acres. I was pissed but then I tried going to Jerusalem and it worked, so I finished up that city's target. Now I have to go see if Acres works... I bloody hope that it does.

Yes, another edit: Well, Acres worked the third time. After I hit Jerusalem's Slave Trader, I went back to Acres. It became unreadable so I cleaned the dis really well and restarted the 360. That did it and I hope this clears up any bumps in the road. However, I will continue to edit this with the problems until I beat the game. Only 6 more assassinations to go! And when the main character (can't spell his name for my life) kills the target and sticks his hidden blade in the target's throat, I can get over how damn awesome it sounds when he brings them to the ground and says, "Be at peace..."

New Signature

So, I downloaded Photoshop CS2 ( Yes, I know CS3 is out but CS2 has everything I need ;) ) and I tried it out. Mind you, this is the first time I've ever made a signature in about two years, so it probably sucks. I started off a tutorial and kind of went off course to do my own thing. So, if I could get some feedback, then that would be great. Also, a link to a good place to find renders (from video games and stuff) because Planet-Renders isn't working for me for some reason. Anyway, its a Halo 3 signature. Check it out, comments welcomed:

Edited it, added a 1px border and took -Xodus- away.
