Putting a mosque anywhere will annoy someone. There are protests of mosques all over the country right now. . .That's not the point of this thread though. This is specific. And I've asked several times why no one mentions that Muslims are also against this site for the same reason. Everyone wants to pretend it's all one sided I guess....but that is not true. If the very group the site is devoted to sees a problem with it's placement......there must be a problem.
hardly any are agasint the community centre, the only one i read about was the miss usa and she isnt even a practising muslim (just in name). you need to stop grouping all muslims as one, we're all individuals.
to the guy posting he doesnt like islam, go start your own thread on that, this ones about celebrating ramadhan. Anyway here in the uk the fasts are like 18 hrs but the first few days are hard then after that you dont notice it.
you're talking about qurbani here, whats wrong with slaughtering cows, how else are you supposed to get to the meat. a lot of these cows are paid for through donations to feed poor people. i dont understand what your getting at?
I wonder what would happen to religion if we did move home, could be quite interesting :P. Also did anyone else read/hear about how our sun is dying and that NASA (i think) are going to essientaly give the sun a jump start back into life with a payload in 2057.

is christianity not hostile when chrisitans blow up abortion clinics, kill abortion doctors and openly preach hatred. just look at the westboro baptist church and the stuff they preach Produce an example of such "blowing up of abortion clinics"..Westboro Church is not Christian, it's a cult...Islam has shown itself repeatedly to be hostile towards Western civilization..killing thousands of innocents.. why doesnt westboro count as a church group, this group being a cult can be said of the extremists, maybe they are also a crazy cult. you cannot argue that on one hand islam is this and that while also saying that Christianity is lovely and peaceful.
