blu ray isnt needed 100% but developers like that they have the space. this thread is no point anyway because all the lemmings are anti bluray and all the cows are pro bluray.
i dont personally like the wii for one main reason. its oging to destroy great videogaming. just think about it, you cant/make get games the same quality as Gears, Mgs4, smc4, motorsotrm, Mass effect and halo on wii. you see all the wii owners who are non gamers doing back flips over Wii sports and developers see this such as EA and Ubi and start making games that are easily accessible and are mini games like cooking mama. the developers only want to make money and whn the see old grannies and what not loving that thats what they'll do. the wii is going to destroy what MS and sony have built (and Nintendo upto Wii)
best example is GAME in Blackburn UK. We had 89 ps3's in stock. thats alot for a place like this, we are only a large town. now take inot account Currys, HMV etc and thats alot of consoles. now for 360 we only had 23 at launch and for the Wii where we were promised 25, we only got 5. and since then every two weeks we get like 5 more. the wii is selling out cos there arnt even any suuply for them unlike PS3 where they give truckloads to every store. so remember even though ps3 are in stock they still sold more than the other laucnes but cos they on shleves they look like they havnt

yes, we have taken the picture in Saturn and media market I still don't believe it. When the xbox 360 launch was in the Netherlands, all consoles were sold in one hour!X360 had less units to sell you geniuses :roll:

thats true, the GAME (uk) store in my large town had 89 PS3's in stock, thats a lot of playstations compared to the 24 Xbox 360's at launch and 8 Wii's. Plus there are lots of other stores where ps3's are being sold so there are lots of supply. The demand is pretty high but due to all the stock it looks like they don't sell.
