IMO there'll be no HD-DVD games, and for we have seen so far, PS3 didn't need that Blu-"thing" for games either, it just one more attempt to have a standard from Sony.

Blue Dragon? 3 discs? I am not buying bull crap that its cool to switch dvds. That is old fashioned and limits games. anyway time will tell
Blue Dragon is available in Japan and it's only one disc, where did you read that ? Maybe you mistaken with the 2 DVD's that come with the game, wich contains the animated series ?
If you want to fill the Blu-"thing" space with content feel free, but I doubt you find a developer that will. Anyway, the market dictates what it's old fashion and what it's not.
No Blue Dragon is on 3 disc. Read this article, http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/747/747023p1.html The game just has tons of CGI clocking in the entire game if uncompressed at 30 GBs. if they had builtmin the HDDVD Drive then it would be better, but price would be higher so, i dunno
