@MAD_AI @Mega_Loser @gufberg So if you overprice the initial game its ok to ask full price for an expansion later on? that's messed up son... His point is very much valid

@wizzzer_thy_133 I don't know if you should be praising this business model.

Activision-blizzard is asking the same price (at least on their website) for their "expansion" as they did for WoL itself.. completely ignoring the fact they could re-use tons of assets from the previous game which usually makes expansions cheaper... usually..

On the contrary most expansions for RTS games have been standalone recently so the game has a reasonable jump in price.

To jump into HotS from scratch using the blizzard online store would cost you 80€ which is completely rediculous.

@Scorpion1813 @Gazdakka You really need to stop calling MGR a hack'n'slash-button-masher when its a reflex based spectacle fighter with a rather impressive combo and parry system

It's nothing like dynasty warriors and button mashing is the choice of the player.. never of the game. every decent action game has some form of combos / combat mechanics in it.. If the player decides to ignore all that and just press x all the way through it's hardly the game's fault. Besides it wouldn't even get you past the last 3 difficulties not even close..

@erMonezza @-aumaan_anubis- @Kazuma_Kiryu

Fair enough I too have been watching anime for over a decade so I guess that does factor in.. still his comment to me seemed very condescending but yes I didn't have to add the high horse part. Although I do think he means Japanese games because well.. we are talking about a Japanese game :P and craigc05 hit the nail =D

@Kazuma_Kiryu "we in the west"? pfff.. I'm sure it's nice and chilly on your high horse there. I absolutely love the Japanese over the top stylish action games. They truly embrace what gaming is all about. No pretense, nothing held back, just raw action that is most importantly incredibly fun to play. Something that often seems to be overlooked in games nowadays... It's games like these that actually keep me into gaming. More power to Platinum Games

game is amazing. The usual high quality expected from platinum games. finished the campaign an hour ago. Very very cool. I wouldn't compare this with dynasty warriors tho. Honestly it's pretty much MAD WORLD but updated for the 360 / ps3. I wish more games like this would still be made :(. Imho this ranks along side jet set radio future in underappreciated japanese awesomeness. Bring on metal gear rising.

great news... If it wasn't that relic has roughly a bit over half of its employees remaining :( 118 were let go. Big names, as far as CoH and DoW goes, were among them. A very sad thing.. we'll see how this goes

I'd like to point out that while I have a crap ton of steam games.. Steam actually requires you to be on-line to go into off-line mode.. yes this is beyond crazy and blew my mind but that's how it is.. I brought my desktop PC along to a friend with no connection to the Internet and I couldn't play any steam game until I used my smart phone and established a weak-ass Internet connection with tethering to put my steam into off-line mode...
