Back in high-school my car was egged twice, if you do not rinse it off soon enough it does damage clearcoat/paint. The first time my clear was ruined and the car had to be completely re-painted (full coverage insurance is good for something.) The second time, however, I caught the little (insert explicatives here) and beat him to within an inch of his life, I don't think he's been "pranking" since.
i just use Windex sprayed on a t shirt strip i cut off it works fine for me..tubmanaxton
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that some of the chemicals in Windex would eat away at the screen material.
Basically you should use a solution (1/2 water and 1/2 isopropyl alcohol) and a microfiber cloth. Or if you want to waste money you can buy the HDTV cleaner solution sold at Bestbuy stores.
