Yeah FEAR is a very linear game compared to HL2.

i've played F.E.A.R., S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and HL2. HL2 is BY FAR the best. if you pay attention to the storyline it can get you hooked instantly.

besides the occasional crash ( about once every 10 hours of gameplay or so) it works fine.

the Half-Life series, hands down. near the end of ep1 when the music started playing it just gave you that tingling feeling....
