@streetsmartz13: So that it can still get 3rd party support while being a powerful console. If Nintendo had it's first party line up and strong 3rd party support it would be the best console. The Switch might get good 3rd party support but who knows it might not. Judging by Nintendo's track record I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't get it though.
@bickle2: I already don't buy their hardware. I hope this fails so that they either go third party or somehow some way learn a lesson which won't happen because Nintendo is either stupid or too hard headed to release something worth a damn.
@bickle2: Let me explain this a little slower for you. I was fully aware of what the switch was going in to the live stream. However, Nintendo didn't deliver any noteworthy news other than the Zelda release date. It looks like it's going to have very few release titles one of which looks gimmicky and it's going to be an underpowered console. I understand it's portable but it could have been made more powerful.
@horizonwriter: So you've drawn the conclusion that I ignored reality because I'd rather have a less gimmicky console with power equivelant to current gen consoles? Use some common sense.
This thing looks like absolute trash. I was actually excited until I watched the live stream. Nintendo can't seem to get their heads out of their butts. Still relying on stupid gimmicks as a selling point is actually mind blowing to me. All we wanted was a powerfull system with a standard controller. The first party titles would have been great and the third party support would have helped Nintendo out. This thing will fail.
I would buy this game if it was on PS4. I just can't stand the hazey graphics of the Xbone. If I wanted haze and an underpowered gpu I'd play my N64 and fire up Goldeneye (which was a good game for it's time).
