[QUOTE="0v3rcl0ck3d"][QUOTE="Franko_3"][QUOTE="0v3rcl0ck3d"] THis is bs.
I bought Orange box in India cos it was cheap, its legit and everything
Now IM back in Australia reading up on how valve has come down on people buying orange box overseas. I type in my CD key and it says its only for Russia and surrounding countries.
Does anyone know what I can do? Returning the game isnt an option, too much of a hassle. SHould I call valve or soemthing?

I already had that problem with HL2, because I bought the french ( euro-France version) instead of the french canadian version :roll: on ebay and the darn thing refused to let me install the game because of that. You should email the support team, that what I did and they accepted to register my cd-key.
THanks, also it says on their steampowered site that the box has to note that it is "region specific." The box I bought in person, in India (NOT imported,) only said that it was only for distribution in India. It didnt say anything about only being able to play in that region.
ALso, how do I email them? From like hotmail or my steam account or what?
There is an option to contact valve support in the top option of your steam program. If the game is region locked, you can alway try to change your country in your personnal account and then register the serial keys, maybe that could work who know.
How do I do that? I asked a question on steampowered but I got an automated response.
