Factions adds more PvP content that is relevant. Nightfall has better single player content that is relevant. At the end of the day it depends on your preference, do you prefer PvP or PvE? Personally I prefer Nightfall for the inclusion of the Paragon and Dervish. Two classes that really bolster a team in PvE or PvP rather well. And the Dervish especially becomes useful in PvP due to the avatar skills and the varied builds they provide. Paragons pretty much are a necessity in a lot of the difficult single player areas due to the sheer amount of support and damage they lay down for the team.

Why is it people who complain about the Collector's Edition of games are acting as if they have no other version of the game to buy except for the pricey CE? If you don't like Collector's Editions of games that is entirely fair and I'm not knocking you for it, but you still have the choice to buy a regular standard version of the game as well. No one is forcing you to pay X amount extra for the CE if you don't want too.

Most PC games aren't that well optimised in my opinion.

The game looks good and simple fun but not 'pay full price' worthy. I'll pick it up once the price drops for sure, not seeing a whole lot of replay value to it myself.

Considering the first Gears 1 PC port was a shambles I would say I am pretty surprised to see them make this decision. Even more so after Epic's CEO had a small hissy fit at the PC gaming community not that long ago. Still maybe they'll learn from their mistakes and release a port that isn't a buggy mess.

I personally prefer the Hunter especially if you can co-ordinate your attacks with your fellow infected, specifically if they too are hunters. A well organised strike at the survivors can literally cripple two players to the point that they'll continually slow the others down.

This seems like an odd decision to scrap the E3 Chatroom since it has always proven pretty popular in the past. And after last years memorable E3 and the legendary activity that occured in Room 0 I would have thought that would prove just how valuable and needed it is. As someone who is not far off being a member here for 6 years and someone who has paid for Total Access each year in that time I can't say I am not disappointed by this decision. It's common knowledge that Total Access subscribers haven't really got any benefit for paying for said subscription and I think it's safe to assume those who are still continually paying for it are doing so out of loyalty to the site. One of the perks was always being able to use the Live Chatroom feature for events, shows and such like and removing it for one of, if not the, biggest events of the year for video game enthusiasts seems redundant and only serves to make those loyal subscribers rethink their decision to renew their Total Access membership in the future. Clearly there is some reasoning for why the Chatroom will not be available this year and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'd like to know that reasoning.

Just found this article up on FPSBanana which found this article on Kotaku which concerns a small Easter Egg in L4D which may hint to a tenth clas$ being added to Team Fortress 2. Do you think this is Valve just playing with us all or an early hint on what to expect in the next updates in TF2 in 2009?

Afterall Valve have put updates on hold for TF2 until next year apparently. That would be more than enough time to perhaps roll out a new clas$ new maps, maybe an update to a current clas$ and a new Meet The... video aswell.

Is this all just speculation and hype or subtle and sly hints from Valve?

To be honest its difficult to get into a group for raids and such when all people want is Rank 10 Ursan players so really get GWEN for that atleast. Even though i hate to promote Ursan lol....on its own though GWEN is possibly the best expansion other than Nightfall for Guild Wars.
