[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="16bitkevin"]If Nintendo decides to drop the prices and make them more reasonable, then I might be interested. Maybe if some extra features were added too.
Right now, the prices are a little high IMO. tocool340
My goodness. You want them to give the games away, then? I guess he does. Hes saying that a can of pop is worth more the NES games.......
I'm not criticizing the worth of the games. If something is worth $500, wouldn't you rather get it for a cheaper price? I just think the prices are a little too high for games that are over a decade old. It doesn't cost them much since they don't have to make cartridges and ship them. I'm pretty sure they are doing what some emulation sites do for free (which I don't condone BTW).
You see that picture above ? IT was made in photoshop drawn with a mouse or maybe a digital pen . It took the guy 2000 hours to finish it and if you would download the original picture (Photoshop format, high resolution) it would be 1.17 Gigs. ANyway if devs would use this technique similar to cell shading we would achieve greater graphics. Anyway i don't think this is possible in this generation of consoles or even PCs but next gen (PS4, Xbox 720) we might see this. For now crysis looks freakishly realistic too and we could settle with that for a few years. turgore
That's how devs make textures for games =/. They draw the textures, then apply them on the walls, grounds, characters, etc..
