Life just became this more awesome than it already is.

I hope it's 2D. Imagine playing with beautiful crisp high-definition sprites with today's technology. Plus, 2D will ALWAYS look beautiful, while 3D graphics will eventually get older. It BETTER be FULL 2D, too and none of that half 2D-3D crap. 2D sprites on a 3D background never looks nice, due to the differences in lighting.
