i dont remember the mods locking up the insane amount of flop threads as fast as they are locking up the home threads today. and i dont remember seeing a sticky the first 2-3 hours of the review being posted. big deal i am a lemming so what. GAMES over a hyped revamped network which the console still has no games
What you don't understand is that most of them are not even bashing Lems. They're just talking about Home. Lems were ''OMG LOLZ MOWTAHFLOP FLOPPED NOOB LMAO 7.9'' all over the place.
well you gotta admit a couple things: 1) system wars is like the armpit of all gaming forums. People say the most ridiculous things, adhere to a brand like it was their mommy breastfeeding them and generally just come here to troll. 2) motorstorm and VF5 were the only real shots the PS3 had for a AAA (blech I hate the A,AA,AAA system you guys have here) title this season. and it didn't do that well. Alot of cows, the ones that still posted at least, had pinned their hopes on it pretty hard. 3) Cows were pretty OMGLOZWTFBBQ about Crackdown scoring a 7 something too. 4) and to address your original topic, what's there to bash lems about today? the Sony Home thing? Not really something to get all that excited about really. It's Second Life/Sims Online. if it doesn't address alot of the poor online functionality the PS3 has (no unified friends list or gamertag, cutting out of games to retrieve messages etc.), it can look like a polished diamond and still suck.
when they get an exclusive game worth playing, I'll probably pick it up. God of War 3 or the next Ico/Shadow game would do the trick. I don't care about MSG or FF. Hopefully by then it'll be around $400.
There is no good reason to buy a PS3 now. There aren't any good games out on it, it costs nearly 2x as much as a 360 and has a crap online system. Live is sooooo worth it.
this is system wars, not Sony stock watch (on the Nikkei, no less). Besides, I don't see anywhere in that article that says, "Strong sales of PS3 boost Sony stock". It's all about their other ventures.
