@yanko_iler: IMO I too enjoy the single player games as well as some MP ones. Between the 2 I would go with Wolfenstein 2. I have rented the game and am still engaged with it. The action is tight and the battles are tough. Alot of cool weapon pickups that you can use but not for the whole game. There are upgrades to the weapons which truly do affect the mechanics of the weapons. Love this game! Will rent COD only for the SP campaign but would not spend the money to buy it.
@ruairionline: You took the word right out of my mouth. When I first jumped into the MP and we were inside a building I felt like I was playing COD instead of Star Wars. It was just run and shoot with no real point to it. The thing that bothered me most was that an Officer with a tiny blaster can take out a heavy with big gun in such few shots. As for the Tie vs Xwing part, that was just pain stomach turning in trying to get your ship to turn and to see where the enemies were. Also trying to fly into the ships to detroy them was just annoying. IMO the first one was way better than this and I enjoyed jumping into battle on the massive maps in comparison to this which like you said is just another COD style based game.
@yoda101280 This is just one of those games where you play it just let loose and blow stuff up and then put it away to the next time. I see the price dropping fast on this one within the first couple of weeks.:
@chris91090: In part I do agree with you that they should just focus on fixing the game bugs and overall gameplay, however, I disagree with your statement about politics. Is is fair that just every game that involves some romantic encounter is male/female? This is the 21st century to where we have turned huge milestone for the LGBT community and IMO games should reflect that there are LBGT people in them. Everyone should have the right to be portrayed in games to reflect real life events to some point. I am not saying every game needs to have it but they should have the option to include it or make them with it in there.
@jlt35050: I just finished the game itself and also on the same patch. Twice I did die, was laying there on the ground and could still fire my and use my scope to kill Kett. At first this game was lame but the fixes do seem to be making the game better. The story does get better as the missions come along. This will never outdo the original ME 1-3 but if they correct the mistakes going forward on the DLC coming, it could be a very good series once again.
@neskins: Agree 100% What I loved about ME 3 was that you had a choice at the end of the game as to what Sheppard was going to do. You wanted to go back and replay it to see the other options/endings. The dialog was better and you felt a connection to Sheppard, this one there just is nothing to make me want to play it.
@BlackBaldwin: The characters in this ME are just plain boring. With the original ME 1-3 you actually game a damn about the characters and the story(imo) is what kept you playing. With this ME I could care less about any of the characters as their dialog has no emotion. The map is just pretty awful and trying to find the route to get to some of the waypoints is ridiculous. With the original Me I did 100% percent completion for the achievements, with this one I could care if I got any as there just is not that drive to make me want to play it.
@Simba13: Sony will charge its own customers a whopping $180.00 if done in increments of 3 months at a time or $239.88 yearly if paid monthly. Most of the PS3 games you can buy dirt cheap at your local retro store or (yes)gamestop for theat matter, the fact that they are adding PS4 games still doesnt justify the absurd price tag by Sony. The fact that Sony is double dipping should drive customers away in droves. $60.00/yr for PS plus then add another $239.88/yr for NOW so $300.00 for old games that most of us have probably played the heck out of on the PS3. For $300.00 that would buy 5 new PS4 games that gamers truly would want to play and /or own. I own both PS4 ( for exclusives) only and the Xbox 1- which does not charge for its backward compatibility - and if your already owned the game from the 360 you now have it on your XB1 to play at NO additional charge
