[QUOTE="1995rox"][QUOTE="nimatoad2000"] yeah but take no prisoners will blow your class away, everyone has heard metallica and their mainstream song one, but if you play TNP loud, the riffs will kill everyone , and probly only a few kids in your class will have ever heard TNP. and cmon the ending is jst amazing " TAKE NO PRISONERS... TAKE NO .. SH!@" instead of " hold my breath inside.. whisper... ... oh god plz help me"nimatoad2000
i blame guitar hero for that
it was an mtv music video hit when it came out....yeah in 1988, most kids these days won't listen to anything before 1990, unless it's on Guitar Hero
[QUOTE="1995rox"][QUOTE="nimatoad2000"]ooh, a bttr war song - megadeth's take no prisoners, about how the government and army leaders tell the soldiers to show no mercy and do their best at war, but if someone gets injured or dies , no one cares. " dont ask what you can do for your country , ask what your country can do for you"nimatoad2000
maybe, ill weigh it. I like One and Take no Prisoners ALOT

We had to do that for History of rock class (part of the pre-requisite for a A.A) And it was very fun. You should do Tool because the more insightful a song is the better the presentation and essay. (although schism isnt all that complicating)[QUOTE="1995rox"]
I have a project in College whereyou choose a song, analyze it, and then play it during class.
I am the biggest TOOL fan you will ever know, but the song I would do "Schism",is too complex towrite about, so I was thinking of going with "One", by Metallica since the song is clear cut about a WWI veteran who gets injured.
And everyone else in my class chose really really really really really bad songs, and it's hard to sit and listen to them, that's also why I'm choose "One".

I chose two songs, All is Full of love by Bjork and Quiet by The Smashing Pumpkins. It was a lot of fun.
Schism is very complicated, you think it's about a love relationship, but it's really about the famoussplit inChristianity during 11th century. And I'm Jewish, so I have no idea

well, I'm also considering, "Demon Cleaner" by Kyuss or "G-d hates a coward" by Tomahawk
