Nothing is truly free, you're paying for it somehow.

Sony's making their biggest share on software, not hardware.
So there you go.

I do
I start argument with cow's like EVOlV3,HAze-Unit and thrones all the time.
Gh0st_Of_0nyx
How can you start an argument about Haze? How not even worthy of a Commodor64 3.5" diskette it is let alone a Bluray disc perhaps? And that's coming from a cow alright. That game's demo was the most useless time I ever had in my life. The damn thing looked like a port from a freaking Gameboy. A real s***ty port I might add. I felt so sorry for my PS3 to bear that extreme uglyness I had to completely wipe the hdd clean. It only then hit me: UBISoft are french, arent they? Well that explains it all now, dont it?
There's no point crying about losing Final Fantasty 497 and the like. Maybe if you'd shown Sqaure-Enix a little more support by buying their games, then they wouldn't have jumped ship and gone to Microsoft. Same with Rockstar - Final Fantasy 13 and GTA4 could have been system sellers, but cows shot themselves in the foot by not respecting high calibure developers.ScrunchMuppet
That's funny you say that considering 360 has been long gone HACKED and ISOs are all over the place.
Who's not buying whose games now?
Multiplatform = good FACT
the companys get more money to make the next game better
and we all get to play it and enjoy it
exclusives hurt the gamers not multiplats
shadow_hosi
Actually what usually happens is the developing team works on one system then ports it to everything else.
See all 07 games ported from 360 to ps3. They were all trashed.
soo how comes an idiot like this gets an assault rifle?Enosh88
Come on now. Firearms and the US constitution? That's like butter on bread :)
You just need a per of arms and legs and enough IQ to drool the word "this" while blinking at a shotgun.
Actually, no. Leave out the arms and legs thing.
I was a former PS3 user.I was happy for a while but there was problems that is even more painfull than the RRoD.
-Delayed games
-Lost of 3rd party exclusives
-The PC to the PS3 connectivity for the media SUCKS ASS!!!
-MGS4 wasn't the big hyped for me.
So after the FFXIII announcement for the XBOX 360,I didn't felt like keeping it anymore. My friend called me crazy and told me that I would still have FF13 on the PS3. I DIDN'T CARE!!! The xbox 360 has everything that a guy like me wants.
-Lots of games to choose from
-PC to 360 connectivity works=they are not trying for us to leave both!!!
-We got FF13 now,muhahaha!!
-We got better games than MGS4 so....
I'm glad to have jump in.

This list doesnt make any sense for the most part.
But have it your way man, goodluck.

That maybe fine for you, but I'm NOT willing to pay for a console that has a BIG probability in failing. Also I want to spend my time playing games, NOT wasting it in waiting for repairs. 8)AlphaGamer469
Guess what? The 360 doesn't have a high probability for failing. /argument...
You were being sarcastic, right?
RROD is no problem at all , Get a 3 year waranty and when you get RROD go to the nearest store ( for me its 10 minuts away ) and switch your 360 for a brand new one,, Thats how it works for me here in europe. I have traded my 360 2 times and I acctually was happy when my 360 got RROD . It took me 20 minuts to trade it and get home , thats lot less then it took you watching a MGS4 cutscene or installing the game ;)ps3weee
I'd like to see you be so happy with your bran new RROD when it happens AFTER your warranty expires.
This console was made to last close to a decade, remember? you're talking about 3 misely years.
[QUOTE="1xcalibur1"][QUOTE="007ybse04"][QUOTE="Al3x_n90"][QUOTE="007ybse04"][QUOTE="Al3x_n90"]Yeah the jasper chip will resolve the problem just like the falcon :D Al3x_n90
90nm CPU is heating up max 50 Celcius degree. 65nm CPU is 30-50 percent cooler than that. BUT 90NM GPU is STILL MAX To 100 CELCIUS DEGREE (BOILING POINT OF WATER) That darn thing will be 65nm too. Got it?
Then you show what you are. Any problems with IQ?
RLOD equals %90 of GPU problems , and That will be %50 cooler now.
Bookmark me. Failure rate will be %1-3 for that full 65nm 360s. Unless sony fanboys make some 360s broke and show them up on youtube
Well it's about time dont you think?
M$ might have done in 2 years what Nintendo and Sony have done in...well, the very second they entered the market.
Funny thing is rumors has it that 65nm PS3 will be coming out this holiday.
Dude you are new to the forums but...
The 65nm PS3 has been out for almost a year, it's called the 40GB...lol
You sure about this? link?
I was more than posetive they only took out 2 usb slots and the remainings of ps2 compatability, no?
EDITED: omg lollz, I had no clue...
Microsoft is REALLY falling behind then.
I think its funny how everyone selectivly remembers the horrible ps2 hardware failure rate. I don't have a single friend who didn't go through at least 2 or 3 ps2's during it's lifetime.
Also, back then we would just go buy a new one. At least with the 360 we have warranty repairs to take care of the hardware failures. However, that still does not excuse the fact that I am on my 3rd 360 in two years, despite my attempts to treat my 360 like the most fragile thing in the universe.
I guess my point is, sh*t breaks no matter who the manufacturer is. We could be much worse off by having to repurchase 360's like we did ps2's.
JimJackJose
That's because the PS2 was always at a steady 2-3% failure rate.
I had my PS2 for 8 years before I sold it.
