No, they have different stories, but they connect to form the "Linked Game".  I personally like Seasons better, but that's just my opinion.  They're both really good, and it doesn't matter which one you play first. nazguldragon15

Linking Seasons - to -Ages was a good Idea.

It's to bad "they" didn't do this concept with any of the N 64 Zelda games.

The olderZelda games get with newer ones being made, The older ones just become classics.

This makes it get a little boring at times.Some newer 2 D zelda games might be a little interesting,

But there is so much more to be offered playing Zelda games in 3 D instead.

It's a very interesting glitch in the swamp of Misery Mire (the "6th" dungeon in ALttP).  The most common method of finding him is this:

From the Desert of Mystery, warp to the Dark World.  Jump down the ledge, then go a little Northeast.  Use bombos, and  every enemy will die except one.  That one enemy is invisible, but it caught on fire because of bombos.  Some say it was dificult to find, but I thought it was quite easy (on my first try).  Just read the FAQ I put above.
