Sony made some bad decisions on the PS3 that will forever bottleneck the console. And now that the console life cycles are coming to an end, the 360 still proves itself Graphically superior to the PS3, even after five years of playing catch up and cutting corners.
1.) It's 2012 and Multiplats are still superior on the 360, even if only marginally. Most issues with PS3 multiplats are framerate issues and AA issues. Now after five years, it's obvious that the PS3 does AA poorly, even MLAA can only go so far. Framerate and AA issues are clearly signs of weaker hardware, All PC gamers can agree on this.
2.) The Biggest multiplats are inferior on the PS3; Crysis 1&2, RAGE, COD. Now to use the same excuse that the developers just arent pushing the PS3 hard enough is old. I mean it's been five years and both consoles are clearly pushed to the max. But it turns out that the 360 just have a little more juice that's more easily accesible. Crytek and RAGE have put millions into coding for the PS3 and it shows the bottleneck of the console.
3.) The two biggest PS3 Graphical marvels (UC3/KZ3) have never used Multi-Sampling AA online because the console just dont have enough juice for it. Now hear me out, if the PS3 had some hidden power, don't you think UC3 & KZ3 would find some way to squeeze in MSAA after cutting corners with UC2 & KZ2? Not possible, instead they seek out cheaper alternatives and cut more details, effects from the predecessor. They have never even surpassed the 360 Graphical marvel (Geow2) which had enough juice to incorporate MSAA into online Multiplayer.
Five years later, the PS3 clearly shows it's bottleneck. It will always have framerate issues and always seeking out cheaper AA alternatives due to the decisions Sony made when developing the PS3
