What?? As far as I know you do NOT need to install the game to play it, its just like 3DS. You put the cartridge and you are good to go. So, at the end of the day, the fact the the game size is 40% of the Swtich's storage is totally irrelevant. WTH are you talking about Gamespot?
@Thanatos2k: Xbox user here... I was disgusted by the gameplay trailer that was shown on the last E3 by Microsoft. Never enjoyed the game since then and actually glad its not coming anymore.
Not everyone is a blind fanboy you know? And what you said can apply to many ps4/pc users aswell since blind little douchebags are everywhere on the internet. Hope you are not one aswell because im not in the mood for a childish discussion.
@chiefwiggum16: We are talking about Nintendo here dude. Just one of most innovative companies in game design history. This is a very plausible statement, I dont doubt that they thought about something similar at some point.
But then again... At the end, they didnt create Minecraft.
@asnakeneverdies: Must call you out on the Wavebird too. It was obviously the best controller at its time (love it to death). But, if you dont know, Microsoft create the design of the 360 controller based on the Wavebirds, BUT with even more ergonomic studyes around it. Thats why its extremlly good, thats why the most recent "Ergo-Controllers" for Nintendo are way more similar to the Xbox design over the Wavebirds...
Back to the Microsoft exclusives, the porpouse of the Play Anywhere program is because Microsoft wanted to get back to Microsoft PC game market again (something they droped a long time ago and fans were always complaining about it). But even if the main and only reason was the Windows Universal Application Ecosystem it can not have failed just yet, the program just started... Its almost like it cant even be called a program with so little games. There will be much more to come, and im glad honestly.
Hope more people are with me on this. And I really hope its good for Microsoft too, because, at the end of the day, its just more games for more people... how can this be a bad thing for us consumers?
Im probably at the limit of my english right now... again, sorry if i'm not beeing clear.
@asnakeneverdies:I dont choose a console only because of their exclusives in the first place.
One of my main reasons is the controller. I hate PS controllers since ever and the Xbox always felt so good since the 360 design.
Other very solid reason is the fact that I had a way better experience with XboxLive Gold than I had with PS Plus over the past years. (And it kept getting better and better)
Gonna be honest, I do love Halo and Forza, but I would choose an Xbox even if this both franchises vanish.
"Oh, you can play with Xbox controllers on a PC"
Yeah, but I cant play PC on a couch. (yes I can, but its not an easy and convenient task) :)
I am a PC gamer as much as I am a console gamer, and the experience is quite diferent to compare both of them... and that is actually the main reason of why I dont think the Play Anywhere program from Microsoft is a problem at all, and actually a pretty good thing for the community.
Summing up, I dont think you can choose only one between Consoles and PC (the same way you cant choose only one between a Console and a Handheld like DS). They simply dont affect the same target audiences. And if Im getting a console, Im gonna choose (independently if a PC has the same games or not) the one that is more confort for me, that I have more safety and that have the best games for it. In my case, an Xbox One (and a PC for some especific games, like some FPS and most Mobas).
@davillain-: Never get it why is it a problem to Microsoft exclusives to be on Windows 10. Gonna tell you a real story.
I had an XboxOne with my exclusive games that I played and loved everyday. Then microsoft releases them to Windows 10. Now I can continue to play the games I love everyday... Nothing has changed, my enjoyment of the games is still the same. And actually, with crossplay, I can now play the games I loves with friends that only play on PC, which is great.
I just cant see the problem here...
Sorry if I made some grammar mistakes, not a native speaker.
People here using games like Minecraft, Angry Birds, Clash of Clans, Pokemon Go, etc for examples of "today standars" must be extremelly dumb.
Do you people even know what a Target Audience is??
People who play games like Angry Birs are NOT gonna play a Warcraft Remaster EVER in their lives.
What Blizz is trying to say is that Wacraft games didnt aged very well. It would be better to make an brand new Warcraft 4 than a remaster of the old ones.
They realize that they cant deceive themselves AND its fans by selling something that is not as good as today games with similar target audiences.
And they are being very wise and mature by realizing this.
Sorry for the bad english, not a native speaker here.
