MGS4 is the only game I REALLY want on the PS3. My plan is to buy the PS3 and MGS4, beat MGS4, and then return the PS3 and get my money back. :)

Ive been hooked on MGS since it came out on the PS1, too bad the PS3 flopped big time.

Fan base? Yeah umm most gamers are not fanboys like on this forum. They only go for systems with better games, thats why the PS2 was kicking @$$ and taking games. This gen is different. Most people who had a PS2 now are buying a 360 because the PS3 just flat out sucks. The games suck and most exclusives are now on the 360, the controller is horrible, and most importantly $600!!!

Wii will win because of motion control and price. Even people who already have a 360 get a Wii on the side because they can afford it. Although the motion controller eventually gets boring and then you realize how kiddy the games are(unless your a kid). The 360 is just targeted at gamers and more specifically at the biggest gaming market, America.

Wii - 100 mill

360 - 75-80 mill

PS3 - 25 mill 

I wonder if MS will have a decapitated alien at a Halo 3 party? But the the people from peta(people for the ethical treatment of aliens) will get pissed.

Desperate? Its called capitalism. You cut the price on something people dont want(HD movie players in this case) and people will want to buy it because of its cheaper price. If sony doesn't cut the price of their bluray players than they will be screwed because HD-DVD will get higher sales numbers. If people dont want HD movies anyway,  why would they pay more for something they dont want? 

I played resistance not too long ago and at first you feel like "WTF!? I cant feel my hands!" and that super light weight controller doesn't help either. You get used to it but after that you go and play gears or something else and it makes a HUGE difference.

IMO the PS3 controller really sucks big time this gen. The controller is way too light, no rumble, and motion sensing should not be on a "normal" controller. At least on the Wii you can swing the thing like a bat, or a golf club depending on what game you play.
