[QUOTE="lx_theo"][QUOTE="LostProphetFLCL"]

Am I the only one who finds it odd that suddenly the level itself is different between the two demos?

In the IGN writeup about the private demo they mention that the ladder used to crawl up the hotel in the E3 demo suddenly wasn't there in the private demo.

That either means one of two things:

A) Levels are also being somewhat randomly generated or

B) This whole thing about it being the same demo is just BS.

They have yet to say anything about dynamic levels so I am quite confused by this.....

LostProphetFLCL

No, it means this... They took out a puzzle you needed to do to get the ladder in the Press Conference Demo Because of Time Restraints.

Ok, but that means that this was a different demo then....

No it was an extension of the original demo they just removed the finding and putting the ladder in place to conserve time. You have to keep in mind that behind closed doors their was an additional 10 minutes of game play that they didn't include in the original presentation. They completely abandoned the guns a blazing approach for a more stealth approach instead. If you actually look at all the extended demo press their are other area's or game play parts that are different like in one Joel uses the brink to smash in someones face. Instead of Elle throwing it. What I found cool was Katoku showed the bathroom scene in the picture for their write up that some of the other journalist mentioned.

Wow TC your trying way to hard calm down and take a breather the game is not releasing until 2013, and that's if we make it that far Mayan calender hello!!! Your going on this rant about lighting but lets be real when ever a game release their first world exclusive trailer it is spit shined to perfection. I don't care who it is they all do it anyone who says otherwise is just B.Sing.

Take all the delusional fanboy granduer and cast it to the side but the E3 demo already showed some area's where it was already implemented. Now ND has alot of time still ahead in the developmenal side before this game goes gold. And your forgetting that ND is famous for their spit shine that they put on their games before the release. I would calm down and be patient before I start I bashing a game that has a long way to go before it is released. ND has embarrassed and proved haters wrong in the past, go do a search on all the old uncharted hate threads?

A good game is a good game and no matter what the console. We should be grateful when developers step out side off the box otherwise we get COD clone after clone type games.

Last of Us and GoW:A were the best of the best but I'm proud to say that both console's are still doing amazing things and the developers should be givin a hand for continuing to pump out excellent graphics.

I'm relieved hearing this, best news I've heard all day. Now if NJ can win the cup my life will be complete.

(wasn't aware it was previously stated already)

Wait aren't you a hard core lemming who hates all things? or is that a misconception created by posters who call themselves microBro?

Kojima confused by The Last Of Us' secret punch lasers

and the game's not linear either. They played the same demo that was shown at the conference but entered the buildings via different routes and without having to kill everybody. Another thing they talked about is that depending on the area and the way you do things Joel and Ellie will have different conversations too, so it seems the game will have tons a little details that will help each play-through to feel unique.

When I read this I started thinking to myself about how many different interactions I could have with an enemy in one certain room alone just buy setting up the scene in a different way? Oh I can kill them with this or kill them with that or I can do this, I truly wonder how many animations can be triggered now?

[QUOTE="Swift_Boss_A"][QUOTE="AdobeArtist"]I would say Last of Us is really what could be termed "Disaster Survival". It's about surviving the apocalyptic world itself, where it doesn't provide supplies or shelter, you must scavenge for yourself what you need to survive the harsh conditions, as well as other [...]tagyhag

Yeah absolutely. TLOU doesn't seem to be doing one genre but quite a few, similar to how Uncharted can be considered a platformer, adventure and TPS. So I definitely see TLOU as a 'Disaster Survival' game which in itself is actually pretty scary but as the initial trailer hinted you wont just surviving humans. And I really like how ND haven't shown us anything on them in game since, not over-exposing the creatures is the best way to make them seem much more menacing.

I can just imagine a night time scene with wonderful lighting, you're walking in the rain and you hear shrieking from far away....

I think I'm going to die every time I see one, since I'm going to be laughing so hard at how stupid they look.

Yeah but I bet if something like this really happened you would be one of the first to Sh*t themselves! I applaud ND for grounding their monsters in reality. How many times have we seem the same old rehashes on where or how Zombie's are created?

I'm looking forward to ARMA 3, but only cause of Day Z.tagyhag
I'm confused but isn't Day Z a mod that if you have an older build of Arma 2 you can play. Sorry I don't really play PC but after seen a couple video's on youtube I'm getting more interested in starting to play PC games thanks ahead of time.

Thats Easy

Uncharted 4: The Last of Us

Uncharted 5: Tomb Raider

ebrezzy1

There was tons of uncharted's this year at E3 we had Starcharted or starwars 1313, Uncharted Raider like you mentioned, and Uncharted Cell or Splinter cell for the x-box three sixty. Best of show for consoles was definitely Last of Us followed by GoW:A. Watchdog's was PC champ by far.

Use a heat gun on a really low setting or an iron and steam off the sticker use a sharpie to black out the sticker when you put it back on blamo looks like you never opened it. If your tec savy go look on youtube about how you can fix it your self it really isn't that hard. New compound artic 5 or 7 is a good one to you a heat gun and have at it.
