I don't think they should give up their baby. But you would think that they would like to try their hand in some other genre instead of just doing FPS. Or is that the only thing they know how to do well, and are afraid to take a chance on something new?

I think it has to do with EA, Ubi, and Activsion having their own conferences and being pretty unspectacular. But MS's was pretty awesome with some new game footage shown.

Ninty and Sony should have pretty good conferences as well.

For the return of the original format of E3 this year has been pretty underwhelming. Or did we all just get are expectations set too high with the hopes of this being the best E3 ever?

EA's conference was a rapid succession of game trailers and short but sweet speeches about them. There were some crappy games in there, sure, but they went through their lineup so quickly and had so many games that it didn't matter. Ubisoft's conference felt even LONGER than EA's even though at best, they had half as many games, and most of them didn't even have any accompanying footage! That was pathetic, and Ubisoft should be ashamed for putting on such a lousy show. They don't have to feel ashamed though, because people seemed more than happy to applaud for 2 hours of speeches peppered with about 20 minutes of pre-rendered CG and about 10 minutes of actual gameplay.Timstuff

Looked on par to what a COD game should look like. Now for the real shocker!!! More then one DL map pack OMG!!! Forget it being time exclusive I really don't care. But maybe just maybe IW feels embarrassed for only one delivering one DL map pack. I mean come on lowly Teryarch the one's who couldn't even fill IW's jock strap has released more DL content the the mighty IW.
