i just hit trophy level 13 and it took forever; it will probably be at least a year and a half before i level up to 14: if i could hack some trophies in i probably wouldn't as i removed a few people on my friends list who competed with me for level 13 but he went out and bought a bunch of crappy psn games, which was like a hack.all in all i feel like i achieved something by being level 13 but i doubt my level of self approval would decline if i were to by a bunch of easy psn games for the trophies.but i cant complain because i have had wipeout for about a year and still dont have the beat zico trophy or the 10k resistance trophy.i guess that means that the perceived value of trophies declines the higher level you go; while you can get that hard trophy get it, the games that you want to play will still be there to platinum later.

Wait so you deleted somebody for playing PSN games??? Don't you think thats kinda lame in its own right???

Before bashing, please read my opinion before contributing. How is this a good game that deserves a 9.0 rating? I realized the graphics were really good, but the blurring effect and the terrible A.I makes this game kind of lame? I noticed that the A.I was pretty messed up. When I walked behind the higs, they automatically knew where I was...even if I was from behind them. The aiming really isnt that great, and the blurring effect makes it seems like im high when I am playing it. The modern warfare 2 single player seems to beat this by far. Anyone else agree? I haven't tried the multiplayer yet though, so I can't judge on that.

You failed when you said terrible AI...If you want bad AI go and play any CoD game...

Blame it on the lazy developers... Some games will not allow you to load up a game save on any other account...

[QUOTE="2beers_in_hand"][QUOTE="MethodManFTW"]i use a wireless router and my nat type is strict... although that has nothing to do with it... my crappy DSL modem is at fault.MethodManFTW
I've had the same problem...What you need to do is bridge your modem, after you do that you will have nat 2...

yo can u explain that a bit more? i dunno wat that means

Your going to need your primary and secondary DNS servers, and your (ISP) IP address... Go into your Modem for all of this... After obtaining this you need to go into your modems advanced setting where you find a screen that asks if you want PPPoE on the modem or PPPoE on your computer or router... Put it on your computer or router, after that power cycle both you modem and router... Modem first when your modem has three steady lights which will be power, Ethernet, and dsl plug back in you router and wait for it to turn back on... Now go into your router and go to setup in there you should be able to find a page to set up your Internet manually...

Okay now my page will look different but mine is set up like this. My address is dynamic instead of static... Then put in you email address that you have with your ISP... (like ATT.net) Then put in your Password for you internet provider the one when you first started your account... I have my reconnection mode always on... My max idle time is zero... Then put in your primary and secondary dns addresses... MTU will be set at its default 1492... And I cloned my PC's address... If all else fails call you provider and see if they can help walk you through it... Also try google yeah its a pain put their is some useful info out there...

[QUOTE="jimm895"]You need to get a NAT 2 connection. First thing is to find out if you can get a NAT 1 connection directly from the modem and then you can move on to the router after getting the correct NAT type on the modem.BostonDieNasty

If you're using a router, then you'll either have to open the correct gaming ports(port forwarding), or put your PS3 outside the firewall (DMZ).

brotherreese

None of that will work if you have att or one of its affiliates... Trust me all you have to do is bridge the modem...
