meh. this arguement gets old.

It will take people a long time to switch into Windows Vista anyway. Don't expect anything too soon.

I can tell you one thing though. As a PC gamer and someone who spends more time doing PC stuff than anything, Blue-Ray is ALOT  more appealing for PC than HD-DVD is.

kyosukeugc

not true. appealing how? how is either really more appealing than the other? i think you are 100% wrong. if one is not appealing, then niether will the other be. and vice versa.

Blue-Ray has a much higher storage capability than HD-DVD. HD-DVD maxes out between 30-40gigs. Blue-Ray has been pushed up to 100gigs so far. As a PC person, this is MUCH more appealing. Especially when you have as much crap as I have that needs to be backed up :)

Have you heard OF HARD DRIVES, there some that are external if you havent heard

yeah, but disks are easier to take with you :)

yes but your forgetting how EXpensive blu-ray is, how much will the disk cost, jus the drive alone will cost alot

FOR PC HD-DVD is more appealing, you can get a brand new PC with HD-DVD drive and how much more will it cost 100 dollars WOW I will like to SEE BLU-RAY beat that

Wow, there are so many inaccuracies in that I don't know where to start. If you want an HDDVD drive right now for your PC just get the 360 drive, it works just as well.DaysAirlines
yes and its 200 dollars, now if your buying a new computer from HP just add and extra 100 dollars for the drive

Dell actively supports Blu-Ray.sankao
YEs and HP was a major supporter for it to but it is now supporting HD-DVD and Dell is popular because you get what you whant for a low price and that will not be that case if they support blue-ray
