In depth as in defined by long pointless and boring cutscenes in every part of the game.

Honostly, why does everyone rate a JRPG by how long it takes to watch the cutscenes and do every meaningless side quest and then rate every WRPG by how long it takes to complete the main quest alone.

In Oblivion, I'm working on building up in both the assassins and fighters guildes, becoming the Arena Grand Champion and then I'll start working on the main quest followed by Shivering Islands. I guerentee it will take longer to complete then most of the JRPG's I've played...

How can you ever argue about the godliness of Final Fantasy? Next you'll tell me MGS is all a bunch of movie clips.

The west is much better at producing Rolepalying Games and First Person Shooters.

Try The Witcher or Planescape Torment, and then going back to your Final Fantasy.

Nothing is better than Final Fantasy. It is the most popular RPG in the world.
