I've got a Wii and I hardly play it. I'd have to say that after I beat Mario, I have not touched it. I would not trade your system in just yet though. To get the maximum amount from it, I would throw it up on eBay...
There is various PQ when talking about BR discs. I'd take a look at better quality discs and then pass judgement. BTW, I believe the T2 disc was redone like the Fifth Element disc because of all the complaints about the bad PQ...I've got T2 and it looks great!

It's totally worth it...Believe me when I tell you this...the battery life alone makes it worth it...
