The Road to Justice Is Twisted

The past two weeks of The Shield have been somewhat flat with some moments of intensity sprinkled in for good measure. But it looks like the last two episodes of the season (or half-season) are going to be absolutely insane. The cat-and-mouse game between Kavanaugh and Vic is about to become a fight to the death. It's gonna be tasty. I also love how this show portrays Kavanaugh as an evil man who's technically doing the right thing. We can see the absolutely frightening power of a self-righteous man. Also, It's been cool to see Kavanaugh going after the strike team as simply a political tool and then become personally fixated on destroying them. And by making the fight personal, "the volume just got turned way up on this thing."

Do The Math

I know everyone who watches LOST is trying to figure out the signifigance of the numbers, but in reading through some of the notes and allusions people have submitted for episodes, I've noticed that some people are really stretching to make these numbers apply where ever they can. In the most recent episode, we learned that Kate was 24 when she murdered her father. The signifigance of that number? Well, it's the reverse of 42 and, if you add 8 and 16, you get 24! Eko wasn't just talking to Locke when he said "Don't mistake coincidence for fate."

Slow Goin'

Well, I've come to terms with the slow levelin' up. It is what it is. If there's one thing I learned about the internet, it's that it's no use competing with others. There's always going to be someone with more free time. That's not to be discouraging, but I could never make 100 submissions a day or anything like that. I don't even have TiVo.

This is just stupid

I went up 2%. Why bother? I'm obviously not going to get an editor position and if I have to make 100 contributions about what color tie Omar Epps wore in episode 1-4 of House, then screw it.

Leveling Woes...Again

The Powers that Be seemed to be on top of the leveling thing and now it appears to have gotten away from them again as I am leveling by 1% at a time. If this is not an error, then this new system blooooows.

Why Chappelle's Show Needs To Come Back for a 3rd Season

1. Dave Chappelle has not gone out on a high note. His legacy will be that he made a great TV show and then couldn't handle the pressure. 2. Didn't Comedy Central pay him a boatload of cash to do a third season? Did he just give the money back? 3. We need something to replace the Rick James quote.
