Alright, thanks all. I shall just play them in their release order and will look into the mods. Was looking for a good single player FPS and this one seemed rather unique.
I was actually about to make a thread asking if they sell all three games in a compilation before I saw this thread.
I'd be interested in picking it up if they did and I think it would make sense since you can't always find all three of them together anymore.

They don't in retail atleast. Only the first could be hard to find since it's already been 3 years when that came out.
I'm wanting to play since it looks pretty good. Couldn't find any good info quickly so I'm asking here. So is it needed to play them in order to understand it all or are some not worth playing etc? Just need some general idea on how to approach it.
Personally I always went with FIFA since 2000 because it's the one that I played as a child and grew up buying almost every years FIFA. I don't know how PES is these years, but I did prefer it over FIFA back in 2005-2007 where the gameplay was just so much better than FIFA. They were two totally different engines and FIFA just felt silly. FIFA won me back with their 2008 version when they improved alot and I will also prefer the game because of it's licenses, because I want to play with the famous names and teams/logos.
Both are very good nonetheless so you can't go wrong with either. Only for the real fan some details will be fatal.
