In a surprising refutation of the conventional wisdom on opinion entitlement, a study conducted by the University of Chicago's School for Behavioral Science concluded that more than one-third of the U.S. population is neither entitled nor qualified to have opinions.:lol::P

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!:DWOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I can't believe its finally here!A whole summer of doing absolutely nothing,and everything I learned in 8th grade will somehow manage to dissapear.:POh,an advance warning,after the first week of summer,I'm going to summer camp in the mountains for 4 WEEKS!!!!!!!Obviously,they don't have Internet out there......or computers,for that matter.:PI guess I'll be coming back in mid July,to find that my favorite forums will have hundreds or even thousands of new posts that I have to read.:PHopefully Xiaolin Showdown 56 won't die while I'm gone...........:|

Yes,I'm back,and I'm still grounded on weekdays.I thought my interim report card was coming on Monday and that if I had good grades I would be able to get back on whenever I want,but I made a mistake.My interim is actually coming next Friday.:cry:

I'm also wondering if any of you read my last blog,since there were zero comments.So,would you please comment on this??At least just say "Welcome back" or something so I know you haven't completely abandoned me.

Well,as you can plainly see,I'm back,and I'm STILL not dead:PI thought I'd give you a bit of humor in this,so I present 12 good excuses for why you didn't do your homework.:P

1.I didn't want the other kids in the class to look bad.

2.A sudden gust of wind blew it out of my hand and I never saw it again.

3.Another pupil fell in a lake and I jumped in to rescue him.Unfortunately,my homework drowned.

4.Our furnace broke and we had to burn it to keep ourselves from freezing.

5.I'm not at liberty to say why.

6.I wanted to frame the detention letter you're about to give me.

7.It was destroyed in a freak accident involving a hippo,a toaster,and a bag of frozen peas.You don't want to know the details.

8.I have a solar powered calculator and it was cloudy.

9.My mom used it as a dryer sheet.

10.My agent won't allow me to publish my homework until the movie deal is finalized.

11.I lost it fighting this kid who said you weren't the best teacher in the whole school.

12.We had homework?!
