[QUOTE="7LES"] [QUOTE="7LES"] [QUOTE="MarkSmith"]Ok, you're on at 2:1 for $20. deal?MarkSmith

Done.

One provision...

Main Entry: do
Pronunciation: 'dĆ¼, d&(-w)
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): did /'did, d&d/; done /'d&n/; doĀ·ing /'dĆ¼-i[ng]/; does /'d&z/
Etymology: Middle English don, from Old English dOn; akin to Old High German tuon to do, Latin -dere to put, facere to make, do, Greek tithenai to place, set
transitive senses

to bring to an end : FINISH-- used in the past participle <the job is finally done>

You know you'd never get away with agreeing to a bet and then adding stipulations after you already shook on it in real life with out hell to pay.in real life

Only Mark would say something like, "Well, I totally agreed to the bet with binding consent, but..." There is no but.

I'm a businessman. I dont take it up the ass in a deal just because Im confident. And I would have bet more than 20, but I know that mowing yards and setting up lemonade stands probably doesnt yield you too much disposable income.

And the only reason I "agreed" to the provisions you made after you said "done" on the forums, is because I knew that if I didnt allow your b.s. backtracking, I'd never get my money anyway. I don't think you're above welshing a bet.

MarkSmith

Gotta try harder than that to respond to ownage. Dude, that's not even worth anything. You failed horribly. Typical Mark: Get owned, avoid what owned you, hope no one notices you, try to generate it into a bash fest.

Not gonna play. :(

Why the hell do you lie so much? Seriously. Are you that insecure? Remember when the bet started? I got logs homey...

MavsFan4Life23 (9:44:46 PM): You wanna go $20 at 2:1 odds?
The Hero Loto (9:44:57 PM): My odds, right?
MavsFan4Life23 (9:45:00 PM): yeah
The Hero Loto (9:45:22 PM): So I bet 20 on what looks like the Suns, and if they lose in 6 games or more, I get 40, correct?
MavsFan4Life23 (9:45:47 PM): no dice on the game count, that's a sucker bet on my end
MavsFan4Life23 (9:46:05 PM): thats why Im giving you odds, I want a straight up outcome based bet
The Hero Loto (9:46:17 PM): I'll tell you before the first game of the WCF

Yeah, you were so confident ... that's why you only bet $20. Hindsight's 20/20.

Here's the best part:

MavsFan4Life23 (9:49:04 PM): 3:2 odds and you're on
The Hero Loto (9:49:16 PM): Naw, you said 'anything' ;-)
MavsFan4Life23 (9:50:02 PM): My swagger and what I actually do with my money are different. Plus, you're jumping in right after the suns stole home court
The Hero Loto (9:50:15 PM): I'm cool staying pat, then
MavsFan4Life23 (9:50:25 PM): **** it, you're on at 2:1
MavsFan4Life23 (9:50:47 PM): I know we're going to win the series in 7, there's no need to get hung up on odds

BUT YOU WERE SO CONFIDENT!

MavsFan4Life23 (9:58:25 PM): you know Howard>>Bell, and Im willing to keep the bet going with them both out

WOW, THAT WAS SO KIND OF YOU.

Rofl @ me getting owned WITH A BET TO PROVISIONS YOU AGREED TO. It wasn't after accepting the bet; WE DIDN'T MAKE BET UNTIL AFTER GAME 1. Why do you think you mentioned the home court thing? You're getting owned so badly. I didn't talk to you in the meantime, only after Game 1... That's when both of them got injured, too... Why do you lie so much?!

[QUOTE="7LES"] [QUOTE="Lakersman2000"][QUOTE="MarkSmith"]Kupchak should have demanded a superstar in exchange for Shaq. No matter whose side you are in the Shaq-Kobe debate, I think you can agree that what turned into Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown wasnt equal value for Shaq.Lakersman2000
agreed.....

It's called zero leverage. You're not going to give Shaq another contract, so you must trade him. If you don't, Kobe leaves to the Clippers. (Clippers are probably happy they don't have him.) You already made the decision of not trading him to the Western Conference, so you're absolutely strapped. You need a young really good player and you have to make outrageous salaries match. Who else could've they have got from the Eastern Conference who's young and really good (and has to have a relatively big salary)?

negative . most teams would love to have kobe . hell the spurs were going after him very hard. kobe sells tickets and merchandise and is one of the very few superstars in this league . no coincidence that even when hes away the opposing teams that never sell out , sell out quickly . love him or hate him , everyone loves to see dude play . who they couldve gotten ? hell i dont know . i still say they shouldve made that trade for artest when they had the chance.

Huh? We're talking about trading Shaq, not trading Kobe. I said earlier they SHOULD trade Kobe now because they'd get inflated value. I said in hindsight the Clippers wouldn't want him NOW because he ruins the team. The team is Brand and Kaman in the post. They were first in blocks and elite in points in the paint, I'd bet. (Too lazy to look it up.) And they wouldn't be able to afford Kaman or Livingston if they had Kobe -- it'd be Kobe max, Brand max, C-Mag making 8 mil per.

Trading for Artest when? This year? They never had a chance. I wish the CLIPPERS did. Mag for Artest was a done deal, but Maggs' injury held the deal up. :|

Mark, your private education didn't teach you how to read. Logs FTW!

MavsFan4Life23 (10:07:51 PM): what consititues "long term"
MavsFan4Life23 (10:08:02 PM): 4 games?
The Hero Loto (10:08:12 PM): 2 or more
MavsFan4Life23 (10:12:12 PM): if they're both out, bet on or off?
The Hero Loto (10:12:18 PM): On
MavsFan4Life23 (10:13:30 PM): how do you want your money sent if you win? I dont have paypal, so it'll either have to be a check or the cash itself
MavsFan4Life23 (10:13:46 PM): unless pokerstars money means anything to you
The Hero Loto (10:13:48 PM): Cash by envelope
MavsFan4Life23 (10:13:52 PM): ok

Isn't this from a man who said there's no such thing as guilty pleasure in music? What's the difference?

www.Amazon.com. That's where I buy books, anyway; Borders or Barnes and Noble or whatever rips you off.

Dude, SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHOOT THOSE BUMS. They're crazy and funny sometimes, but most of the time annoying. "Mang, someone break me off a ticket mang, y'all know if I had dough y'all be the first I'd hook up." It's sad but still, F THE BUMS!

What's wrong with liking a library? :| That library has like a bunch of floors... A dope computer lab. Incredibly comfortable pillows and chairs and couches. They don't even care if you sleep there! I kicked it up in there and fell asleep for about 90 minutes, no one said a word. A very comfortable sleep.

I like to read a lot. Sue me. :|

Encore - City Livin featuring Pep Love. This beat is fire. The CD is solid; should be at least listened to. He has his moments. The most slept on relatively recent release by you fools... Except for that Eternia.

LA is a HORRIBLE city, wtf? I feel sorry for anyone in LA. It's smoggy, there are tall buildings everywhere that are annoying, there are annoying dudes walking the street, queer bums bugging you every second, horrendous traffic, EVERYTHING HAS A LINE... The only good thing about LA is the library. That library is sick.
