There's not much you can do if you're Dallas to prevent Wade from scoring, not because he's the next Jordan, but because Dallas has no answer for good guards. Ask Kobe.rubbersouI

Not really.. Kobe only had one amazing game. He equaled it out by shooting 22% in another game. Overall he shot 44.1% vs Dallas in three games. He shot exactly 45% for the season. In other words, Dallas did a good job.

I'm not going to get into who's a better teammate, passer, blah, blah, they're in different situations. Lakers need Kobe to take more shots, his team isn't nearly as good, and that's what his coach and teammates want from him. And I'm not going to get into who played a better post season, Phoenix and Dallas are too diferent. Phoenix averaged 20 more ppg against LA than Dallas against Miami. Kobe wouldn't have been able to outscore Phoenix, but like Wade, he would have been able to against Dallas.

Well, Lakers were better when Kobe passed more and the offense was pounded inside, even though Kobe was still woefully inefficient at trying to pass more.

BTW, when I referred to Wade > Kobe in the playoffs, I wasn't talking about one year. Wade this year and last year has done things Kobe has NEVER ever done, and Kobe's done some amazing things in the playoffs. Wade is becoming an immortal in the playoffs, and that's not exaggerating.

Should've been suspended -- NBA let him off EASY. Cuban should be fined a million dollars. An owner should not be allowed to get in the face of anyone related to the NBA, and stare down the commissioner.

Ya, he's good at preventing him from driving, that's why he's on him, unfortunately he can't defender jumpers, like at all.

^ Is why.

Bad idea trying to compare him to Kobe, at least compare him against Dallas. How many points did Kobe average against Dallas this season?

I agree that Wade is more clutch than LeBron though. He's made nearly every clutch play he needed to throughout the series.

Don't know about you, but I'd want Wade, and mostly every other player, pushed farther out on the perimeter as possible. Only a handful of players are better from outside the paint than inside it, and the majority of Wade's damage comes in the paint. The Mavs have been pretty solid at defending him this series, actually.

Any comparisons between Wade and Kobe are unfair to the latter; Wade really outclasses him. Any objective person realizes Kobe is not close to LeBorn or Wade's level. Both are nearly as good scorers, WAY more efficient scorers, better defenders, significantly better passers, much more unselfish, and Wade's been way better in the playoffs than Kobe, and if this year is a sign of things to come, LeBron will be too. Oh yeah, and they've already gotten out of the first round on their own.

What's lost in the Wade / "was he fouled" crap that's irrelevant of whether he was actually fouled or not...

Have you guys watched Dirk Nowitzki this playoffs, for instance? How many of his fouls overall, or in the Heat series, or in Game 5 can you say are questionable? A lot. The refs do the best job they can; the point is if a call is debatable. It's obvious Dirk's hand is in Wade's back, and it can easily go both way as to whether it's enough for a foul or not. The fact that his hand WAS there, though, in a critical play, with the ref looking RIGHT AT IT means you can't blame the ref either way, whether he did or didn't call a foul. Case closed.

[QUOTE="Lakersman2000"what a lame after one bad album you trash your once "god mcs" . what have you done for me lately fan. sorry but not everything a artist release is hot . everyone will dissapoint you someday - just remember them for the great music they gave you and appreciate it ..... thats why you change favorite rappers like you changes underwear . jay-z-theres been a murder.

No, after one good album and one horrendous, unlistenable album. The first two albums are classics, and all of Esoteric's guest verses rape. I don't know when you're going to realize it, but I don't have loyalty to any artist. Why should I? All I'm loyal to is great music. If LB released some crap tomorrow I'd bash the hell out of them.

I've changed favorite rappers because unlike you, I actually listen to new music all the time. Compare what I listen to and what you listen to, and I've listened to at least three times more artists.

7L & Esoteric flopped. This is probably the worst CD I've listened to in the past two years, maybe longer. I hope it's just a knee-jerk reaction, but WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO?! Esoteric sounds like a baboon; you'd never know this dude ripped it on AOTP earlier this year. The beats remind me -- ironically enough, since they dissed him -- El-P on crack. That's not a good thing. I'm ashamed to admit ever liking 7L & ES. I need to burn my name. Man oh man oh man.

they've been giving wade wide open jumpers the entire series. ya harris is guarding him but he'd be lucky to be able to get a hand in his face let alone jump high enough to block him. and somehow in his jordanesque performance tonight, like people are calling it, he could only manage to shoot 39%. he made all the clutch shots, and some of them really were impressive, but most of his shots opportunities he's been getting any good guard playing in the nba would be able to make. and when they did finally double him he'd have to drive to the basket (which he is great at i'll admit) because when he did try shooting over a decent defense, he was way off. the dude has no jumper, dallas might as well let wade take his jumpers in his driveway, that's essentially what they're doing putting harris on him.
rubbersouI

What's your point? Harris is a very good defender BTW.

Wade scored HOW MANY points in the 4th tonight? :|

He shot WHAT percentage against the Pistons? 66%? Kobe shot what, 35% against the SAME starting 5?

Wade shoots 39% eFG on jumpers, so no, he doesn't have a jump shot. He drives 40% of the time, though, and shoots over 60% on it, so who cares? LeBron doesn't have a jumper either -- his eFG% is only slightly higher on jumpers. Wade gets fouled more often than any other player in the league except for Shaq, too... Wade > LeBron; this and last year's playoffs just put a cap on it.
