There's not much you can do if you're Dallas to prevent Wade from scoring, not because he's the next Jordan, but because Dallas has no answer for good guards. Ask Kobe.rubbersouI
Not really.. Kobe only had one amazing game. He equaled it out by shooting 22% in another game. Overall he shot 44.1% vs Dallas in three games. He shot exactly 45% for the season. In other words, Dallas did a good job.
I'm not going to get into who's a better teammate, passer, blah, blah, they're in different situations. Lakers need Kobe to take more shots, his team isn't nearly as good, and that's what his coach and teammates want from him. And I'm not going to get into who played a better post season, Phoenix and Dallas are too diferent. Phoenix averaged 20 more ppg against LA than Dallas against Miami. Kobe wouldn't have been able to outscore Phoenix, but like Wade, he would have been able to against Dallas.
Well, Lakers were better when Kobe passed more and the offense was pounded inside, even though Kobe was still woefully inefficient at trying to pass more.
BTW, when I referred to Wade > Kobe in the playoffs, I wasn't talking about one year. Wade this year and last year has done things Kobe has NEVER ever done, and Kobe's done some amazing things in the playoffs. Wade is becoming an immortal in the playoffs, and that's not exaggerating.
