Not everyone lives on the West Coast, you cant expect me to stay up past midnight every night until the end of June. I get the first game on Saturday at noon rather than the god-awful time of 10:00 a.m, so all in all, my time zone>yours.

And your argument still holds no water. In fact, the fact that Dunleavy doesnt have enough confidence in Ross to put him on Ginobli makes your point even further diminished.

The fact that you admitted you don't/can't even watch all the games is enough for me. Your comments went from bad to not-even-worthy-of-commenting-on. Enjoy.

Except for this little thing called context. Elton Brand had one of the best games of his career-40 pts on 18/22 shooting, and the Clips STILL got ripped a new one.

Plus, it looks like the two headed defensive monster of Ross and Cassell didnt slow down Nash one bit. Told ya so.

MarkSmith

The best part is you didn't even watch the whole game. I know you didn't because you even stated you were going to sleep, and when you said that the game was still going on.

You know how you just proved it again? Quinton Ross WASN'T EVEN ON STEVE NASH. Or Leandro Barbosa. Why? I have no idea, and it pissed me off tremendously. I suppose it's because C-Mag was balling out of control, and Dunleavy didn't want to go really small (he should've -- going with Cassell, Livingston, Ross, C-Mag, and Brand would've been the best, especially since Kaman wasn't playing that well), but for whatever the reason, Ross wasn't on Nash or Barbosa. Do I think it'll continue like that? Of course not. If they DON'T put Ross on either of the two, they're going to lose this series, but I'm pretty confident they will.

Part two on why you didn't watch the game: The Suns made a double-digit run in the 4th the second Dunleavy inexplicably put Brand on the bench. Dunleavy made two boneheaded moves in this game, which is very uncharacteristic for him -- he's been great this year, especially with an eye towards the Clippers' D. Anyway, when Brand went out, the Suns took over the game; otherwise the Clippers were winning/playing even and likely had the game won. The bigger point is Marion cannot touch Brand in the post. Brand very well could've had a perfect night; every single one of his looks was fantastic.

Livingston and Ross need to be on the floor when Nash and Barbosa play together. Cassell on either of them is asking to get burnt. Cassell was making it up on offense, but giving it right back on defense. Barbosa going off is bad. Hell, I would try trapping him -- he's not a great passer.

Why am I even trying to talk basketball with you, though? It's obvious you hardly watch.

As groundbreaking as this confontation is in terms of wit, I'm going to call it a night. I cant wait to wait up and read in the paper that Nash and the Suns proved you wrong again.MarkSmith

Even if the Clippers would win 100-0, it doesn't confirm anything... I picked the Nets over the Heat, and the Nets raped the Heat -- OMG I AM SO RIGHT NETS ARE OBVIOUSLY WINNING IT'S TEH LOCK.

[QUOTE="Colt45fool"]This thread feels like old times :)C-GHOST

With the basketball and everything?

Well, all I have to say is:

KG > All

Has a superstar ever only gotten past the first round once out of what, ten years?

Or miss the playoffs two years in a row in his prime?

I see your ripostes arent any more sophisticated or varied than they were last year.

And by the way, Clips arent looking too hot after 1. At this pace, you're going to make Jago's predictions look like God's.

MarkSmith

LMAO @ Mark deleting posts that own him, like old time's sake.

Like I said in the other post, "The Suns sure aren't looking too hot after the first four games in this Lakers series!"
