hell i hope not, what do u ppl see in this game? grey, post apocolytpic crap (literally crap) scattered around everywhere and u scrum around in filth.
looks boring as hell if u ask me, doesnt have the same flare as elderscrolls
and why is everything 1950s themed when this nuke went off in the yr 2077 according to the game!?!?!?
most overrated game of the yr if u ask me, nothing like oblivion in a bad way
wow, sitting in the backseat, since im a canadian who can just observe, it saddens me that you guys are seriously using video game analogies and religous affiliation to choose your leader.
As well you are all saying like one leader will convert America into the next SSR,wow
BOTH are going to friggin serve your country and are proud American citizens, damn guys use some reason.
ok well as far as xbox over taking the pc, that's already been established, with the other consoles. have u noticed most major pc games come to 360 then pc now? this was the other way around before, then the pc gets 1 game with good graphics (game sucks) crysis and all the pc fanboys go crazy. The thing is if your a pc gamer following the latest hardware today your officially labelled a nerd for the time and dedication u have to put into tweaking and upgrading your machine, where as some average guy will spend $200 on a 360 and play fallout 3 for wayyyyyyyy less and wayyyy less technical knowledge and he won't give a **** if it Dx9 or Dx10 or 30frames per second or 60 frames per second etc, anyways thats a whole nother issue.
Now as for the next xbox having better graphics, it clearly will as long as 360 doesnt go the nintendo route, this will determine how much better they will actually get. But notice between gens the gap between graphics inproving decreases exponentially than what was achieved before, ex:
NES --> N64, that was the single largest jAt ump in graphics in which we will never go from one extreme to another ever again, unless im proven wrong,
N64 ---> ps2/xbox good refinement of N64's graphics but when u compare the top n64 games like perfect dark, the improvements were making the shapes in the games more rounded and having larger open environments with more happening
ps2/xbox --> xbox 360 made xbox graphics have the ability to go HD and slight improvements at the start and now large improvements latter in the life
xbox 360 ---> ??? Well look at the latest computing technology today, its not going to do a heck of a lot more in terms of graphics for ya, like crysis is the best we've seen as of yet and the 360 could even handle it (its running friggin far cry 2!) so we have a long wait if we want to see a QUANTUM leap in graphics, which otherwise why release a new console if its similar graphics? the xbox 360 is online, treat the new xbox live experience as your xbox 720!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think every die hard shooter fan knows the father of console shooters was golden eye for the n64.
Quantum of Solace is the fist bond game on a next gen console, which isn't a spin off james bond game or anything other than Quantum of Solace (and the precluding Casino Royal story). There is a strong emphasis on the story obviously as this is a bond game, but perhaps more so than the usual shooter as multiplayer is a strong focus.
However the multiplayer is supposed to be fully supported and a main selling feature with various game modes.
Utilizing the latest cod4 engine from one of the most recently successful shooters, could this really be a modern day Golden Eye? ;)
cod5 suddenly looks not so appealing anymore! besides i have cod4 for cod5 team based play, im looking forward to a fresh new shooter!
i don't know about anyone else but i was preparing to buy LOTR Conquest first and foremost before any other game this fall. Now im seeing gamespot and ign and all the others saying it will be out Jan13th US and TBA 2008 Europe.
I NEED THIS GAME THIS FALL, there are no articles on this topic, just i have noticed a trend on all the websites, WTF IS GOING ON!?!?!?!
OMG OMG it features about 5 mins of the start of the game and 1 multiplayer map "Market Garden"
