@MrGeezer: I see what you're getting at. They essentially just don't want him working on the film anymore, but can still use his intellectual contributions. The chef example was good. Thank you for being decent in your response. Don't see that much anymore.
I really am mixed about this. Disney has a right to do this and to say they don't is very very dangerous. I've said it before and I'll say it again that things said on social media are not the same as things said in casual conversation. They can easily be taken out of context and painted in any number of different lights, most of which will end poorly for the person. Always be careful creating permanent records.
I will say it sounds like he's handling the situation well. He's not flying off the handle and starting some Twitter war, which is good.
I still think Disney is laying down some double standards here though. He can't direct the film but they'll gladly use his script??
Man, this sounds like ramblings of a middle aged man. Oh well, better grab some coffee and start organizing my coupons. Oh look, there's a sale at JC Penney's! Time to stock up on polo shirts and socks.
@jski: I'm not sure what you mean when you say that you could just "block" the griefer. I've never known a game where you can block individuals unless you own the server. Secondly, the wanted level may not deter someone from griefing as much as you'd like it to. So they could just keep shooting to annoy you.
