@jenovaschilld: I remember the TV show and it was fantastic. It really did explore the "hulk" within all of use. I remember the final episode and being visibly upset.
@straightcur: My inability to see a large number of movies is a recent thing. I've seen hundreds (perhaps thousands) and I know good from bad. Besides, I don't think being a movie buff means you watch a lot of movies. It means you have the artistic palette necessary to delineate between them. Food critics generally aren't binge eaters....
@straightcur: No hyperbole here. It really was the worst movie I've seen in a long time. Maybe that's because I tend to gravitate towards great movies, who knows (I'm kind of a movie buff and I don't have time to see a lot of movies). I went in expecting it to be on par with a lot of the other superhero movies I've seen. This one was simply trite and predictable, much like a story that I would expect a (very) young writer to create.
The guy that played Rick Flag makes Vin Diesel seem dynamic.
I wonder if David Ayer knows he's talentless? I just watched Suicide Squad a few days ago and it was easily the worst written and directed movie I've seen in a very long time.
The whole thing gave me the impression that it was written and directed by a high school student interested in film. You can tell what he was going for, but had no idea how to get there.
