Check if it still plays normal Dvd's, cause if it does, your blu-ray is screwed. If you send it back to sony, I think they will fix it for like $150, thats just what Ive heard from other people. But try taking it back to wherever you bought it, they will probably give you a new one.
Eh, If you already have Cod4, definitely fallout 3. It just depends what you like, if your more into single player, (I have not seen single player this good on ps3 since Metal Gear Solid 4) then fallout 3, but if your pretty much only an online gamer, then World at War. But in my opinion all World at War is just Cod4, but with WWII weapons. So overall Fallout. Plus More than likely, your gonna get 2-4 playthroughs of Fallout 3. :D
When your looking for the G.E.C.K. You can hear him talking in one of the test chamber things. I think to get him you need good karma though, so if you play the game as a dick, you wont get him. After you free him he will retrieve the G.E.C.K. for you. He also has his own super-sledge so he wont use your ammo. *SPOILER ALERT* And after being captured (and escaping) the enclave, he will be outside there with a mini-gun (I think thats what it was.) He's also radiation resistant. But the part that sucks is (ANOTHER SPOILER) If you choose to activate Project Purity, (You can also have Lyon's do it, or do neither, and just stand there.) Fawkes will follow you into the chamber, but if you ask him to activate it, he will refuse saying something about how its your "destiny" and that "Your story ends here."
aww no shooters? umm Assassins Creed? thats stealth, and swords and such, but no guns. Guitar Hero 3/4 or Rockband 1/2, Little big planet. ahhh there's probably alot more, I cant even think right now. :P
Do you think it would be cool if Metal Gear Solid 4 was re-made (or possibly just into Metal Gear Solid 5?) and the story was the same, but instead of playing as snake in the game, you would play as raiden? Just a thought.
It comes down to mgs4 or Fallout 3. MGO didnt do much for me. I think it would be great if they re-made mgs4, but instead of playing as snake, you can play as raiden. Or maybe an update to mgs4 to do that, that would be great. :D
ehh I guess you could play through mgs4, just skipping the cutscenes. But I dont think you will the full experince of the game since the story will not do much for you. Why not try picking up mgs1, mgs2. mgs3? Probably wont be that expensive. Or you could just go on wikipedia and read about 1-3, but wouldnt it be mgs3, mgs1, mgs2, then mgs4? But I'd definitely pick it up no matter what.
I picked up Assassin's Creed for $7.99 and Bioshock for $14.99. I might go and try to get some dvd's maybe, probably step brother's and tropic thunder.
Well, i rented it, and it even gets boring after renting it. Its very "Go here, kill these people, collect whatever." But then again, i just got done playing fallout 3 before this, so maybe my expectations were high. But instead of renting, id pick up another game, maybe bioshock? mgs4? fallout3? Orangebox? I know im gonna get alot of hate for saying this about farcry2, but I didnt think it was as great as it has been built up to be.
