I suppose most people here are probably hardcore gamers that play game's pretty regally along with other commitments so I can see why it means so much to you but unfortunately hardcore gamers are a minority of game owners most people will play maybe once or twice during a month or less. They buy a game and then play it maybe even finish it put it on shelf and it is forgotten. Casual gamers as they are called could not care if they can't play these games any more if because all they want is the new Console so the can play new games most of them probably will still have there 64 or ps one in a corner collecting dust. Unlike hardcore gamers who like to play there games over again to get all the collectables and on different difficulties a casual gamer will play the game through easy or normal once and then forget about it. To sum up for people who can't be bothered reading my rant casual gamers make up majority of the market and frankly don't care about games as much as the minority hardcore gamer. As evil and vile as it seems to you guys Sony will get more sales with this model because of casual gamers like my cousin. I personaly could not care about backwards compatibility.

Jesus I knew this game would be good but my 9.5 this along with final fantasy tactics and battlefront renagade squadren are now my must buy list. The psp is really churning out some awsome games now it seems.

The first Spyrogamewas the first Playstation game I played that made me want to buy a playstation but it wasn't till two years later when Itraded in myN64 for a Ps2that I eventually got the game. The first Ps2 game I got was Fifa 2001 but it wasn't till the rachet and clanck series and Jak series that I really enjoyed playing my ps2. There was GTA3 but at the time I was ten and didn't have much intreast in the gta series though now that I am older I really enjoy the GTA Series. My favoirte game on my ps2 how ever has been Residant Evil 4 as there is alot of atmosphere in the game and it has a good balence between horror and action.I haven't playedthe God ofWar games as I traded in my PS2for Xbox 360I don'tknow why Itraded in my ps2 for xbox 360 I just woke up one morning and decided to try something new and different. So far my xbox 360 hasn't been too swell I got the red rings of death, my ps2 lasted me 6 years without problemso that's a little dissapoting. But anyway I plan on getting a ps3 if not just for singstar, ratchet and clanck and Metal Gear Solid 4.Where Ilive in Australia and singstar is very popular here and it's one of the only games me, my friends and family all enjoy when we are having a party.

P.S. Sorry for the long post I have been board lately with my xbox 360 being broken.At least I still have my psp, my dog who constanly needs a walk and my friend who has a wii though it seems like every time I come up there that I need to bring some batterys as hiswiimote keeps running out of themto keep me busy these holiday.
