well if you ask me, i say get both because the dsi has better upgrades and all the add on's and new tech.but somepeople like to go back to old school and play gameboy advance games. one thing i recommend is to not get a regular ds phat.it sucks.
i've been looking through and on everypage i see 1 or more topics on pokemon.this is gamespot not pokespot. i watch pokemon but over here it's like a disease where everyone has to know about pokemon or they get kicked out.
another things is that some of these posts have so many posts that most peoples posts won't even be read.(ha ha)
There's little to the single player campaign. It's pretty repetitive and feels more like an advertisement for the multiplayer mode rather than an actual story driven experience. Unless you're either bored or lacking DS games, you'll struggle to find the motivation to complete the single player mode.Raiko101
well to put it simply, the single player sucked nuts.repeated bosses, and minibosses. no nonweaponry related powerups besides energy tanks. and the single player killed it with the repeated escape sequences.it's horrible but the cutscenes have wii graphics so to speak. and it's only fun when you beat the gorea and gorea phase2. also the ending sucked beacuse you don't get better endings if you get 100%weaponry and scans. but the multiplayer and wifi was probably the only reason this game got an 8.6

My hands cramp up like a mofo, especially on boss battles. I am actually currently playing this game and it is REALLY hard to get into. I just beat the third level after taking a break from it for like 4 months lol.yo people if you keep complaining about hackers,then get your own action replay.besides it doesn't matter if there are hackers. there's lots of codes for that game even though story mode is jack.multiplayer and wifi are legit.if you don't want to lose any rank pointsn when hackers are palying here's what to do.after the game ends ( after someone get's 7 kills or when time runs out, turn off your ds system before they show the fisrt scoreboard(the one that shows your rank). turn back on you ds and go to multiplayer survival mode and fight a bot.doesn't matter how many lifes there are.when you're done( it works if you win or lose, go to edit freinds and rivals.you should have the same amount of points you had last before you fought the hacker.keep doing this if you lose anymatches.even if you come in second place.if your tied for fisrt you don't lose or gain points. that's how i became a four star today. even if there's no hackers in the match if you come in second or less use the code.don't take any chances or try to add people as rivals cause you'll lose points after it says saving to game card and the cheat won't work.this cheat will not damage your game and the only sideeffects are that your radar might not work for 2 -3 battles. and so you don't make yourself feel bad the hacker still gets points after the match for "beating" you.
