No need. It makes sense with a portable console like the DS/PSP and for the PS3 because it needs something appealing since they are not selling well, but MS doesn't need a slimmer console. I think it would be just stupid to release one.SparkyProtocol

They didn't need to slim it down they just needed a price drop, the only reason they slimmed the PS3 down is because they always slim down their consoles like the PSONE and the PS2 slim. So it was obvious they were going to slim the PS3 and like they are 100% sure they are going to slim down the PS4 too when and if it comes out in the future.Now on topic MS doesn't slim down the console because they need to redesign everything to make things fit.
